Overall awesome case, but microphone seems bad

Typically, the quickest and most effective way to alleviate any audio issues with your LifeProof case will be to remove your device, blow some air through the microphone membrane on the case, and then re-install your phone with the bottom going in first.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this one is without the cover for the screen. since the iphone has to been charged so frequently the little flapper for the charging connector wore out, and the rubber thingy for the sound off/on button broke. both parts rendering the case un-water proof! BUT the company (not Best Buy) sent me a new one to replace it. So, the company does stand behind its products! And the rep was super nice about it. And I would recommend it b/c my other iphone got zapped with just a bit of blowing rain and there went all my cross country photos!

I bought this case when I upgraded my iPhone. What I came to find out is that LifeProof changed the size of the charging port on their cases so now only Apple cables will work. This means that the 6 or 7 after-market cables I have are useless. A serious drawback on an otherwise good product.
