This is my second life proof case that I have purchased when I upgrade my phone. Case is definitely water proof already dropped phone in water and life proof case did what's advertised also protects phone from damages when acedently dropped phone floor. Definitely recommend to everyone when you want all around protection.

Unfortunately this case is defective. It doesn't properly close (seal) at one of the bottom corners. I put my phone into the case right after I purchased it, in the store as a matter of fact. I only took it off once, 3 wks later bc I was going to the coast and I remembered I never did the water test. I pulled out the instructions and followed them accordingly to open the case and take my phone out and then precedeed with the water test. After the time allotted, I reopened the case per the instructions and inspected it. There was water on the inside of the case and the piece of plastic (that's suppose to be acting as your phone) as well. I dried it off and tried one more time thinking it was just a fluke or something. It happened again. I decided to put my phone back in to the case bc even though it's not water proof, it can at least protect it from getting dropped. Once I began to put my phone back in and started to clip the pieces back into place that's when I noticed that it wasn't properly sealing on of the bottom corners. No matter how hard I try it doesn't close down. My bf even tried and he couldn't get it to close like it should. I spent $60 on this case. I mine as well have just bought a regular case that would have cost me way less. But here I am. I even went to their website right after (which it's been 2 wks now) and put in a claim to send me a new one and I have yet to get a response from them.

I love my new case will protect my phone and great price

I am a case collector. As in, I've only had the 7+ since September and have collected well over 30 cases within that time frame. I will say hands down, this is the best case I've ever owned PERIOD. I love the clear back mixed with the mermaid teal (my favorite color). It's protective and unlike the other Lifeproof, you don't have to worry about a grainy plastic screen which leaves a rainbow effect. It truly is dust and dirt proof. As for water, I'm not the type to take my phone plunging into the Pacific or have to text while I'm in the shower so I haven't tested it. The only instance I will be near water will be at the beach taking photos of the waves and then storing it safely away. The only downside I've discovered is the sound. Having people on speaker or playing music without headphones does not sound well but then them hearing me has never been a problem and I rarely have people on speaker phone anyways. The sound makes the case vibrate but it's not nearly enough to deter me. It's extremely easy to clean (a wipe down with Clorox wipes work best) and the buttons are not difficult to push like other reviews have said. The charging port is easy to pop open as well but it feels protected at the same time.The case is slim for a Lifeproof and I don't notice it making my phone any more bigger than it already is since it's a plus regardless. I would recommend a thousand times over.

I have been using Lifeproof cases on my devices since 2012, and can honestly say that Lifeproof is listening to its customers. The NÜÜD case for iPhone 7's design has been completely reengineered. Not only is it more aesthetically pleasing than the last NÜÜD, the case is much more likely to retain its appearance over time, due to the absence of rubber overlays. All in all, this year's NÜÜD is an excellent product which provides the protection Lifeproof is famous for, with a more compact and seamless design.

Expensive cases, but work well for protection, muffle sound on speaker though

It is a great looking case that not only protects the phone, but it also shows off your iphone's beautiful aluminum back. However, before taking this case underwater, make sure you water test without the phone to check if the case is leaking or not. They will replace the damaged case, but not the phone even if the case was on when phone was water damaged.

This thing is the bullet proof vest for iPhones. It will survive drops and probably submersion in water (I never tested). It accomplishes this fete by covering all the holes... like the speakers, microphones, and power jack. End result? I have to use my headphones to use my phone because no one can hear me because my microphone is protected behind this powerful shield. Also, my headphones are always plugged in, so the little door that blocks water to the power jack was always open, until it snapped off, so it's not really gonna protect my phone from water. I'm cool with that, because I haven't dropped my phone in water. I have dropped it on the ground, and it hasn't broken or cracked the glass, so that part works for sure.

This is my first iPhone. I saw this case onsale. Initially, I was concerned that the screen was not protected. Usually, I cover my phones with Otterbox Defender. After 2 weeks, my impression is solid. The case maintains the awesome protection, yet looks sleek and clean. But beware... it is slick too. Be careful where you place it.

Finally a case that actually works well for the 7 plus. The new design feels much more sturdy. The case fits tight and is in fact waterproof. The charge port door has finally been re-designed. I think this one is a home-run. My only complaint is there are no good tempered glass screen protectors available. A case is almost pointless if there is not also a way to protect the screen.

Now that Best Buy already matches the Amazon price, it is even easier to get. The warranty that Lifeproof has makes this a no brainer. It protects your phone like no other. It slides in and out of your pocket. No extra bulk. Since it doesn’t have a screen protector, your phone responds like it should with no delay.

This phone case is great! Sealed the phone up good. I think too good. People say they can’t hear me when I talk with it. But who makes phone calls anyways. I recommend this case if your want good protection. It doesn’t have the screen cover though.

I was very skeptical at first- there was no way I wasn't paying over a hundred for a case AND screen protector from the Lifeproof site, especially after reading the bad sound reviews. I got it on sale at Bestbuy and while the product from Bestbuy does NOT include the screen protector, I am very pleased. Let me start off by saying the biggest complaint people had was talking on the phone seemed to be dampened or the quality was bad. I have not had this issue and no one I spoke on the phone has complained of the sound quality. If yours sounds badly- on a regular phone call from either side- call Lifeproof. They have amazing warranties for that stuff. Expect the speaker to have reduced and muffled sound quality just as you'd think a waterproof container would, but it's not unbearable. Pro: Waterproof Shockproof Reasonably bulky Feels secure Normal calls sound fine both ways Cons: HARD to open Speaker/Video/Music sound IS muffled No glass included, unprotected screen A regular screen protector WILL NOT FIT LP Alpha Glass is not sold individually In summary: Phone calls sound fine both ways. Loudspeaker for music or videos is dampened but that's expected. Screen is not secure and regular protectors do not fit. Lifeproof does not sell individual AlphaGlass. For a normal daily usage where my phone is not near water, I will be switching between this and my Otterbox + a normal screen protector. Until LP decides to not be greedy with their flippin fitted protectors. I would NOT pay $120 for this case unless I went out on a lake every day or was near open water regularly.

Case has done a great job keeping my iPhone protected. I have dropped it and gotten it wet and all is good. Only thing negative is the sound seems to be muted.

My case goes through heavy use daily. This case is lightweight, easy to clean and the open screen keeps the phone very responsive. Fun color. Dirt becomes visible pretty fast but it’s easy to clean.

I love the look of this case and the protection it provides. I do have complaints that people can't hear me good unless the charger door is open though.

The case was super easy to put on and looks great as well. It is water-proof and even let's the phone take great pictures. It does make the phone feel a bit bulky but for the price of the original phone, I would want to protect each and every inch of it. Great case.
