Leary of the actual ability to protect from water with the open front, but we will see. Biggest downfall is the buttons are really hard to press and the mute switch feels "weird" and doesn't have a good click to know when muted or not.

It's awesome to learn that your NÜÜD series is providing some solid protection! As long as the case passed the recommended water test, the seal around the device screen should seamlessly keep your device away from water.
On the other hand, we apologize that the side buttons are feeling a little rigid! No moisture was detected internally, however, when I took it to the pool with my actual phone inside, moisture was present in the rear view camera area, hence making the picture blurry.
