There is a plastic little tiny switch to turn the sound on and off your phone. You can barely get to it and turn it. It wasn’t worth the trouble. Also the case scratched very easily.

The toggle switch does not line up when u put the phone in the case so the case doesn’t even shut. And from the little time I held it there were fingerprints all over it. Waste of money. Rubber Issues!!!

Great Case but has a Flaw

The button to allow the phone to be put on Vibrate is covered in the case. So to have the ability to vibrate your phone you would have to take the phone out of the case. This is a major issue for me as that is the most used switch on all on my iPhones. If that doesn't bother you, then this is the perfect case as it shows off the new glass feature while also giving you a colored band, it also is very durable and protective.

Garbage. Last lifeproof product I ever buy

They would last 6-8months before the rubber had all worn away and completely torn off the sound switch - making it no longer waterproof. 6-8months was a little annoying and you’d fill out paperwork, pay $5 shipping, and wait two weeks - but at least they were good about replacing the case over and over without a fight...for a while. Supposed to be “free replacement cases for life” (hence the $100+ price I paid). 2 years into the phone, they had run out of replacement cases and it was “sorry about your luck”. They told me they would offer me a discount when I upgraded my phone and needed a new case. After some lengthy customer service conversations - they did offer me a discount on this case, because of my past experiences. Problem is - the discount didn’t even come close to the lowest prices I could find online. Again “sorry -that’s the best we can do”. Now for the specifics on this case: people who are giving good reviews - look at their dates. I guarantee that tide is going to strongly turn over time. Yes the case looks nice when new, without up close inspection anyway (although they tell you it is no longer waterproof). Near the charge port, where the two pieces of the shell merge, one side is so thin and flimsy - that it doesn’t seal completely to the other side of the case. It leaves a 1mm gap for water or whatever else to get in - right by the charge port- where you need the most protection. As someone else pointed out - the rubber cap for the charge port seems flimsy and I doubt it would hold up for very long. The biggest problem however, is the rubber “seal” all around the front face of the phone and the sides. At one month in, it was stretching out and coming loose all over the place. I can’t believe I spent $1000 on a phone - and I’m positive no one is more delicate with theirs than I am. I’m also a professional product designer. It’s not me, I assure you. Design is ok, but this is a very poorly engineered and manufactured product. It’s going to be big problem for Lifeproof, I would guess. I’m not even messing with their trade in program this time, unless they want to send me 10 units at a time - because they will each last for 1 month. Nah, not doing that either - too wasteful. Getting a refund and going with a different brand.
