I had my iPad 3 in a LifeProof Nuud case for years with a Zagg screen protector (not approved by LifeProof) and though the case looks beat, the iPad looks good as new. I naturally wanted a LifeProof case for my iPad 9.7 Pro and bought one as soon as it was available. As before, the fit and alignment with iPad controls is exact. However, I found that the NUUD case no longer includes the sturdy hard-case cover that came with the former model. It made a very steady stand, even on uneven surfaces and soft surfaces (like propped up on pillows). I was accustomed to sliding my iPad between or under car seats or squashing it into pile of books or briefcase without a worry, and this is no longer possible. The available at extra cost ($40) LifeProof cover is not "crush-resistant" and is unstable as a stand. Even on a flat, firm surface it will tip over if I push the home button or a deep push on the screen unless I use other hand to steady it. I expect that I do have the important water resistance and shock protection I've paid for, but at about a 50% increase in cost I've lost a lot of the convenience and care- free use I had before. I would recommend it only to someone who understood that in advance.

I'm very impressed with the lightness of this Nuud. I appreciate that it doesn't weigh down my bag when traveling. I feel secure and like my iPad is well protected. I also enjoy actually touching the screen and interacting without worrying about a screen cover dulling my touch. I've had LifeProof cases on my iPads since the first one I bought, and I'd never be without one!

I am always looking for thin and light cases that can display the color of your devices front and BACK. Check, this one hits all the marks. It is a breeze to install, done in under 5 minutes including the install of a simple snap screen protector. Be sure to remove all the interior plastic backings before installing as I missed one. I had to reopen but even that was quick with the included plastic key to reopen the case. But in any regard, all the openings and cut outs line up perfectly, the sensors worked flawlessly, the camera and flashes all continued to capture great pictures. The fingerprint sensor is protected and continues to work the same with or with case in place. The water tight intergrity does not seem effected by the addition of my simple snap glass screen protector. I tested it very quickly and so far no issues. The case does of course add some weight and dimension but you get some security with the water intergrity and drop protection. It is clearly a well made case with above average protection and considerable lighter and thinner than otterbox defender series cases. I got it for $97.49 which is costly but very few cases if any offer this much protection and the ability to see the color of your device front and back...I do not understand why all cases are not clear in the back. What is the point of selecting a color for your device if no one including you will see it. I later obtained a very nice bestbuy price match guarantee that reduced the effective price with tax to under $83.

I was apprehensive before installing this on my iPad. After all, the iPad is a ~400 dollar investment. Thankfully, this case actually comes with a little iPad "stand-in" that you can install in the case. Why would you want to do that? Well, because with this iPad stand-in successfully installed in the case, you can then throw the case in a pool, bathtub, or other likely body of water an iPad might fall in to prove to yourself that it's waterproof. I did. Left it at the bottom of the tub with a couple of weights holding it down, for an hour. After I recovered the case I pat-dried it with a towel and opened it up. The fake iPad inside was totally dry. I then installed it on my iPad. Fit like a glove. Now I know if this thing takes a quick spill somewhere it shouldn't, that I don't need to be too worried about it being ruined. That's peace of mind right there (And it should be. This case ain't cheap).

This case provides ample protection for your iPad. The case is waterproof and overall has a great look.

This iPad is used in a kitchen a lot so waterproof and drop proof was a must. The only negative is because there doesn't seem to be a way to use the Apple Keyboard with this case. Figure that out and it would be 5 stars!

Lifeproof makes the best cases! So easy to install and no plastic screen to worry about. Very lightweight too!

The speakers are still loud even in the case it's light weight not too bulky. The only thing I don't like is the screen is exposed. I thought it was cool at first but when I use it at work it might get scratched. So before you buy make sure you understand the screen can still be scratched. Am going to get a screen protector for it. Besides that it's great, it's still actually water proof even tho the screen is exposed.

They did a great job with this one. Just when I thought lifeproof had gone the way of the American automobile in the late 1980's-1990's, they pulled it together and made a case worthy of the name they built. The best feature is the 4 speaker vents. It no longer sounds amazingly horrible. Lifeproof protection on an investment worth the price tag to protect it. I'm very happy with this.

I purchased this case for my 9.7 iPad Pro. it fits well, I haven't yet been brave enough to drop it in water, but did test the case before installing on my tablet. It requires a separate screen protector as the case seals the back and sides but not the glass on the front. it's a tight seal, so far has kept out dust and dirt.

All aspects of this case met my expectations. the only thing that I felt could have improved this product is to add a screen cover.

Seemed very good in terms of well built, good fit, good look — but the camera lense opening is set for the Pro not the regular iPad. Maybe 1/16th off but all important — shame on Apple. Returned with no issue.

Lifeproof NUUD cases are great. This one is made for the iPad Pro 9.7" (and not the previous situation where you could use the iPad Air2 but, while the Pro would fit it would be off regarding the camera). This is the one to get for the Pro if you are serious about protecting your iPad. Easy to install and it works without compromising the features you buy an iPad for.

Big fan of the Lifeproof line of products. If you are going to spend hundreds, maybe even over a thousand dollars, for an iPad or an iPhone, this small investment offers the piece of mind you want. This is also the correct version to order for the iPad Pro 9.7" as the previous Air 2 version would fit, but there was an issue with the camera. This one is perfect. Get it.

I'm dissapointed it doesn't have s screen cover of any kind . I needed to buy one separately. Other than that it was good

This case pays for its self. It is worth every dollar and also has the best warrenty to go with it!

Love the series but it doesnt fit my ipad perfect. The camera is covered slightly, but doesnt interfere with anything else. I can overlook the camera as I dont use the ipad for that

I brought this case for my sons iPad and it has saved it from many drops! I just wish that there was a screen protector, instead of the open front. I had to purchase a screen protector

Works well and does its job. It would be nice to have a version for the iPad Pro 9.7 that has a built-in screen protector.
