That particular case is specifically engineered to fit the iPad Pro (9.7-inch), and is not considered compatible with the iPad (5th Gen). While the iPads might be similar in size, the device features are different - such as the camera placement. At this time, we do not offer a NÜÜD case for the iPad (5th Gen), but we'll definitely pass the idea along to our product design team!

Water poured out! First I tried Catalyst case, Now Nuud. Both failed their test miserably. Now I'm waiting to see how Nuud customer service is. Catalyst was awful! I will update this as the process unfolds.

Great Brand that is going to crap!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Lifeproof Nuud (pronounced nude) are the best waterproof iPad cases I have seen thus far. Unfortunately, since being bought out by Otterbox, the brand has gone to crap. First, they have discontinued all of the accessories like the shoulder/hand strap and the lifejacket (floatation device)...it is not like they designed the case to work with any other strap. Second, their product development originally lagged behind only 6-8 months for the arrival of a case for a new iPad. Now, it seems like they are not even bothering designing any new iPad cases at all...the last ones available are 10.5 and 12 inch iPad Pro 2nd gen cases. The 9.7 inch pro case is listed as out of stock, which is their code for we are not making any more. No sign of them making one for the new 11 & 12 inch Pros. The 9.7 inch 8th gen (non-Pro) has been out for over a year and no case! Having to go elsewhere for waterproof iPad cases (e.g., Armor-X, Catalyst) that are not as good in design, but seem to be all that is available.
