I genuinely intended to leave a five-star review as the first person to share my experience. Here’s what happened: FedEx delivered the couch, but it arrived soaked, raising my concerns about its condition. Fortunately, it was well-packaged, and after unpacking, I was relieved to find no water damage. I reviewed the instructions, which seemed straightforward, and began organizing the pieces. However, I noticed that piece #3 had a bent metal component. Anticipating potential issues, I snapped a photo and used a rubber mallet to reshape it. Once fixed, I continued assembling and thought to myself, "This is going smoothly." When I reached piece #5, I encountered another bent part. Again, I documented it and employed my trusty mallet to correct it before proceeding. After completing the assembly, it was time for the cushions and covers. Now, let me tell you, the odor was unbearable! They even included a note stating that the covers can only be dry cleaned, leaving me with a smelly couch. As I grabbed the couch cover and reviewed the instructions, which advised to "slowly pull down the sofa cover from all four corners without tearing the stitching," I found it odd. When I attempted to put the cover on, I quickly understood why. IT DID NOT FIT! I realized the instructions were necessary because the cover was significantly smaller than the couch itself. I’m baffled by how they expect a couch to fit into a cover that’s smaller than its frame.
