Love, love, love LIFX! Their color reproduction is amazing! But lights grouped together in HomeKit don’t fade or change color at exactly the same time they do if faded in the LIFX app.

I am pleased with my purchase even though these lights are a bit pricey. The light works exactly how I thought it would. I actually do like to change the color to change the mood of the room. My one and only complaint is the music mode on the app, it pretty much sucks and is not in sync in the music at all... just seems too random.

Color output is great and well worth the price of the bulbs. Just make sure the bulb doesn't get bump in fixtures or it will reset. Bulbs are very hot to touch. If you have a dual band Wifi router, try to put all your smarthome devices except your voice assistance on the 2.4 Ghz bandwidth

This is an excellent product. My daughters love it and constantly play with color changing.

This is my third LIFX bulb. All work great. Integration with Apple Homekit is very easy. I haven't tried any Hue lights but I love that the LIFX is brighter and doesn't require a hub, that was the big selling point for me.

I wanna say this is LIFX product number 10 I have purchased over the years, originally went with Philips Hue (what I thought was their starter kit..Hues) get home and it says I need $100 hub. headed back to return them for LIFX and glad i did!

With so many features in this light, this was quite easy decision as a first purchase.

As in other reviews, the light output is great. It vivid true colors and works great with Alexa. The LIFX app is decent.

These are excellent lights, multitude of colors and scene settings, however I have lately been having issues with the native Lifx App on Android to control the lights, I can easily manage them with the Google Home App though. I have used them for years, over 3 years now, and they continue to work good. Luminosity is excellent, these are very bright and specially I like the cool white I can create with them. You can make them change colors according to the music that's playing, make them blink when there's a thunderstorm, turn them on or off remotely (to scare potential bad actors) and a lot of other tricks. Just be prepared to learn how to do all these tricks using its app or competing apps such as Google Home, IFTTT and others.

With better and brighter colors and no need for a hub, the LIFX bulbs are a no-brainer if you want to bring your lights into the world of smart home. Great beginner item, too, if you're just starting to get into the Alexa/Google/Siri ecosystems.

This bulb is excellent. No bridge required like the Hue. The initial set up can be a little painful depending on which phone you’re using but once you get past that hurdle, the app and the bulb itself is incredible.

A little pricey however ......I am very impressed with the color options of this bulb. Had a time that is was going offline quite often. When I researched on the net it seems others also had the same issue. I think there was a firmware update or something....because it hasn't don't it for a while. All in all I am satisfied.

I used these as my outside lights and it works great because you can schedule for them to turn on and off each day with the sunset and sunrise.

These lights are very good when they work. For the most part i havent had any issues with there newest update but before then i had trouble with there software and connectivity issues, but it may have been my router was not fully compataitable. Overall a great light !

Once you make the decision to introduce smart lighting, you have to understand the potential costs of adding bulbs beyond the starter packages. Hue Philips makes quality smart bulbs, but requires a “bridge” controller, and subsequent purchases of bulbs are expensive per unit. The LIFX brand is the true bargain in smart bulbs. Functionally, they are suberb with brightness and colors that match the best available today, and do not require “bridges.” They are compatible with Amazon Echo, Google, and Apple homekit voice assistants. Most importantly, they represent value in that their prices for subsequent individual bulbs are value priced. Try one LIFX, and you will be adding to your smart home lighting without trepidation, and smiling at the cost savings.
