overall the actual lightbulb is really cool and bright. it works with the Home app on IOS and that’s how i use it since the app tends to crash. another downside to the app is that sometimes you must keep the app open on your phone in order to keep whatever effect going. i don’t use the colorful settings and effects as much as i was hoping for but i still love it.

I now have 9 of these lights and love them. Some I wanted to truly function as smart lights and some I still use a switch for. I love that you can change the lighting mood by the touch of a button!

These are awesome to create custom color effects. Easy to install and use. Slightly pricey.

Great lights that doesn't require a hub easy to connect with wifi and works great with Alexa. I recommend grouping lights in the Alexa app to turn multiple lights on at the same time.

I purchased 5 lifx wifi bulbs. I love them. Easy interface. Colors look great. Works great with amazon echo.

This is a fine light. Does exactly what I need it to do.

I'm using this light for outside accent lighting. I do have it protected from the weather. I use it for both security and special effects. For security, Alexa turns it on 30 minutes before sunset and off 30 minutes after sunrise. Special effects include random switching colors I use around the holidays. It was everything claimed and very easy to connect to Alexa.

The light is good and bright, but large and kind of funny looking. Works well though!

I thought this morning the multiple purpose colors however, this device was unable to connect. I tried it two more times and I had a return back to the store.

I enjoyed my time with these lights. At some point they were $22! I had to return due to not working with my new router. Looking back though, it was the router’s fault and not these lights. These were great.

I have the regular LIFX LED bulbs in my house but this one you can use as a flood light outside! It has a little rubber covering that protects it from the elements.

These work great with Alexa app but not so well with Lifx app. They still have a long way to go before super. I have four in bed room in celling working together, so when one disconnects from network you have to reset all. Which is a pain in the neck, but when they are working Alexa it's a great way to control them. PS my old X10 system is still the best way to control my lights!

Lifx just makes the brightest most colorful smart lights. Their hardware never fails. Now the software, well, it's gotten better, but they canceled the Windows PC software. No more updates to be had on it, but it still works. I just can't change all of the colors on Lifx Z strips with it. If Lifx would update the PC software, I'd buy more lights.

These lights are great! We have them throughout the house. I have them set with geofencing to have the lights come on when I arrive home. Also, we have different colors set for watching a movie, dim for candlelight, nightlight etc. There are so many colors to choose from! Can control from their app or AppleHomekit app or control with your voice using Siri! Easy setup.

I say overall it works fine, sometimes it stops responding and need to turn lamp on and off, have it on an Ikea lamp and use Alexa to manage it

Love the simplicity without needing a hub to use it. App is great as well.

Love the brightness and colors available, but these things repeatedly drop - random bulbs, at that - from wireless. I'm kind of invested at this point, since nearly every bulb in the house is Lifx, so it's not an inexpensive proposition to switch to Hue. Yes, followed all of the instructions - still, kinda trash. Congrats, Lifx, you acquired a customer out of sheer inconvenience and cost to switch. Yes, I've owned these way longer than the purchase price shows - my initial purchase was something like 20 br30 bulbs and I've been incrementally adding as I've swapped out switches. Do yourself a favor and just use Hue.

These are considerably brighter than the comparative bulbs and are smooth functioning. Initial setup was a bit bumpy but once it was setup, all has been good. My only frustration is that I had to physically rename my 2.4 GHz network for these to function properly. I haven't had to do that with other brands so far.
