This light is awesome! The colors and brightness are everything you could want! It's very simple to use justice load the lifx app and hook it up to the same network your phone is on. You won't regret buying this light

Look no other place than the LIFX bulbs. There is no way I would choose the Phillips hue obver this setup. The app is very easy to use and the colors are true to life and this setup works with IFTTT and Alexa, love it

In an ideal world, it should only take a minute or two to set up these bulbs: Connect to the bulb's wifi network, enter your wifi password, then the app does the rest. However I found the process to be frustrating as bulbs would not connect, wifi networks would not be shown, pairing would fail repeatedly in the final step. Lifx troubleshooting did eventually work after repeated bulb power cycles and router resets. The bulbs themselves are great and once paired, the app is intuitive and easy to use. Pros: gorgeous vivid colors, super responsive, decent software Cons: Setup is a pain, firmware updates are glitchy

Easy wifi setup without a hub and iOS app simple to use to control color and brightness. The green color is much more vibrant than the Phillips Hue Light. Just set these light up to Amazon Echo and can now turn them on/off, change colors and brightness by voice. Great product but would be nice to see the price come down.

Loving these lights. Wish I could afford some more.

Just being able to control light from phone where ever I am and set light modes and scheduled times to turn on and off. I have mine come on before I arrive home from work so I don't have to walk into a dark house is a great security features

I like these lights more than the Phillips ones. I just wish they had more effects in their app but the fact that most Phillips apps work with them is a bonus. Some of them fall off the network from time to time but I think that's because I need a new router.

The Color Capabilities Are Cool But What I Really Like Is Being Able To Set It Up To Turn On My Living Room Light At Sunset Or Whatever Time I Like So It's Not Dark When I Walk In The Door. It Can Also Be Activated Remotely At Any Time.

You don't need a hub for these--and when they work, they're great. When I first got these I was in an apartment and they were sometimes temperamental...but for the most part they worked. Now that I'm in my new house, the lights in the bedroom frequently disconnect (despite being closer to the router than they previously were) and like to turn *on* according to schedule, but refuse to turn *off* according to schedule. Irritating, to say the least. As long as they work though in your home though--they're handy. It's nice being able to turn on/off lights remotely.

This wireless LED light bulb doesn't need a hub like most of the others, so that's a huge plus. It's worth the bit extra it costs per bulb. The open developer API is great. No need to be tied down to an app when you can just write your own. I would totally recommend this. It's great as a gift.

Awesome product, works amazingly well. soon to have Siri control. Gen 3 is in the stores now. Bright and true colors. Way cheaper than Hue system and easier to install.

Great bulb for a bonus room, man cave, or bedroom. App is easy to use and bulbs are easy to set up. Will definitely be getting the strip for tv application.

The online reviews were right. The Lifx bulbs are a lot better than Philips Hue bulbs. The colors are brighter and the app is easier to use.

We have two of these lights and they are very colorful. It's amazing they produce so many colors. The app has some great features as well. We have other IoT devices in our home that connect and work better though. Sometimes these show offline for no reason. I would give them 5's if the app always connected properly. I know it's not our Internet signal strength or an issue with the phone, as I never have issues with connecting to other IoT devices at that time.

This is a great bulb. It is very easy to setup using the app and the color shades are very bright. Over 16 million color combinations.

The colors are endless! It even has different types of whites you can choose from. From soft white to daylight. Setup was fairly easy.

Bright, awesome, fun, easy to set up, and the colors really pop. Plus, no annoying hum unlike their White 800 model.

Never really use the color changing bit. Usually just use the on and off feature through Alexa. Nice to know I can but really never used. Sometimes it doesn't respond, probably just a network problem (signal strength) other times I need to physically turn it on and off for it to work. Computer repair 101 (turn it off and back on). Usually no problem, just a slight pain... yelling at light bulbs is new to me but your kids might get use to it.

Works well and can control it from the Harmony remote and even incorporate it into activities. I'll probably but more but will wait for a sale or for a price reduction.
