I absolutely love them. My entire home uses LIFX bulbs. This new bulb has changed from the previous iteration. I don’t know what they did but in my opinion they ruined it. These bulbs will not stay connected No matter what I do. I have redone my Wi-Fi network constantly and set them up from scratch multiple times. Ultimately I had to return them. I’m sure they can work this out via software But not worth the headache right now. Luckily… They offer refurbished versions of the previous generation on their website at a substantial discount. I ordered them and had them set up in less than a minute… Three days no disconnections works flawlessly just like all my other LIFX products. Please fix this as I will need to buy more of these in the future.

Lights are great

Maybe a bad bulb or a bad upgrade

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not sure what they changed with this bulb compared to the older ones, or if I just got a bad bulb, but it is not the same hue as the older version. Warm settings are drastically more yellow in hue than orange, and looks really bad in comparison to the older bulbs. I would recommend going with the standard bulb vs this one for not much more because if this is the current color temp now, it's not good or accurate at warmer temperatures. Perfect fine with cooler temps and any of the RGB colors outside of orange though.
