I own several Lifx light bulbs and those are great. For the light strips there more of a toy in my opinion. They don't really provide that much functionality. I guess they're fun to play with

I have both the lifx and the hue system. Lifx much better quality light, but they don't stay connected at all. Hue always stays connected.

Great color, wifi and multi colored strips. When at 100% brightness power adapter makes a buzz. Lights are sensive so make sure when plugging in extensions to unplug power adapter first.

I purchased 3 strips. They worked great for a couple of days but i lost the ability to control 2 of the strips wirelessly. My attemps at resetting them and repairing were unsuccessful. Wait until the next version. Pros -when they work correctly they emit great colors Cons -sporadic lost of connectivity -cheap material -adhesive wears quickly

It took a while for Lifx software to get the bugs worked out, but since they worked them out, these strips have been amazing! I use them everyday. I have one behind my TV, and one on top of the double door closet door jamb. Very bright, very colorful, and many API options.

This light strip will be all you need to add some style to your rooms. I used them to go behind my wall mounted TV and it really makes my living room look cool. Setup is easy and creating "scenes" is simple. I will end up buying a couple more for different places around the house (under furniture, cabinets, bars).

Bright and color acurate! But you have to be careful is really fragile. Not very flexible. Mine quit working after 5 days but i still like it I have to go ask for a replace.

First thing I'll say: if you have trouble syncing and getting all strips working, try hitting the tiny button on the controller as stated in the instructions. These lights are bright enough to use for full room lights instead of just accent lighting! Great color. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

I use them as backlighting on my tv! It's awesome when I'm watching movies the lights follow the movie!

I got these lights over the hue because of cost to setup. I like that the hub is built in. These lights are relatively expensive compared to normal lights, but way cheaper than the comparable Hue lights. That being said i'm not sure these lights are as reliable as the hue's would be. Since i've had these for a month, i've had to unplug them once to reset because the light goes offline. I love the color separation for mood lighting, or I can switch it to a bright white light of my color choosing when I need real light. I'd highly recommend these.

I bought for indirect lighting in the kitchen. Have since bought two additional for bedrooms. Works great with Amazing Echo. Very bright, lights up room well. Very sporadically loses WiFi connection. Turning off at the switch then back on resolved my issue. Buying more.

Light is brighter and colors are more vivid than any other strip i have seen . If the quality of light is important to you lifx is the way to go.i have multiple lifx in my home and i have very few problems even using alexa+smartthings+harmomy+google.

This light strip is sweet. The range in color and intensity is amazing. I like how easy it is to setup with the LIFX app. I use this light with Amazon Echo to turn on/off, change colors, and set brightness levels. Will be picking up another soon.

Good WIFI LED Lights. Setup was relatively easy. Would like the adhesive to be better, but it's not a huge deal. Overall satisfied.

Even though they are pricey, they are definitely worth every dollar. Easy set up and the adhesive is alright, I used some gorilla tape for securing the strip to the back of my TV. The app works great. Connecting to Amazon Echo was easy as well.

The light strips work great! the color is very vibrant, and it connected to my Smatrthings HUB seamlessly. My only complaint is that the clear material (it feels like silicone) is not durable. I noticed (after installing it) that there were gashes in the clear coating. I am not sure if it was from my nails, or maybe one of my kids picked at it. The light strip still works great, but I worry that if I ever remove the strip to place it somewhere else, it might permanently damage it, and no longer work.

We have a bar ledge that runs 12' around the counter, that separates the kitchen from the family room. The under side edge was a great place to put the light stripe. I would have given it 5-stars, BUT.... There is a kinda big a/c plug to plug in and there is a long piece of wire that you have to connect the a/c plug wire to the "led stripe". That long wire is rolled up in a loop, I have a couple wire "twisties" holding the loop together, just laying on the counter. Kinda ugly.

This light string works flawlessly with the associated application. Options seem endless in color and intensity. Buying this item from Bestbuy gave me a better deal then any online offers. Giving several feet more at a nominal cost.

Sometimes disconnects from my network but works well, very bright, awesome set of leds. Just a bit expensive...

We put these lights around our TV. It gives off a nice light, and can be changed to suit the mood or show!
