The Life product are always good as you can image.

Device would lose functionality completely the hard reset button would not fix it. Lights link by metal contacts nothing designed on them to keep them together. When it works the lights were cool. With color zoning. Being able link up a long chain up to a single controller. Buggy. needs cords that break up/space out the led strip.

Do Not work properly when the room is hot. Sometimes do not work well with wireless,

Lifxz did not work for me. I have 6 of the other lights but this strip wasn't easy to update and didn't connect or stay connected. All other lights work perfectly. Returning this product after working with IT for weeks.

Poor adhesive backing, tricky especially when applying to corners. Poor software/app. Don't buy this.

Never could get it to connect ro home wifi and do what it is suppose to do. All the unboxing on youtube show it working easily. Not the case for me or my husband. After at least six hours total time trying , resetting etc. I finally had to return it which was the easiest part if my experience.

I regret every LIFX purchase Ive ever made, especially all of the them. I bought too many upfront and tried my best, but not worth the frustration. Fail rate of 50% or so.

I purchased 3 strings of the lights. No matter how I tried connecting them, I could not get them to sync up with each other. Poor product considering the cost.

I purchased the LED light strip and went straight home and set them up and only one section worked.

Pros: Great lighting options Very bright Cons: Terrible activation software Poor customer support (if you can actually reach someone) Lights keep falling down - back not sticky enough Once you manage to get these up and running (no small feat given that the activation software is terrible and if you are actually able to reach LIFX customer support they are not particularly helpful) they are very nice and attractive. However, they fell down twice after installation finally leading me to use double sided tape to keep them in place. LIFX needs to improve the substance used to stick them to the surface.

Such a beautiful product (when it actually works - which is rarely) I've connected my first set of LIFX Z (3 meters) and the ambiance it provides is amazing, but then there's the connectivity issues. Bulb offline is something I never want to experience again. It will be offline 23 hours and 55 minutes of your day - everyday. I will have to unfortunately return this item back to Best Buy and potentially go the Philiips Hue route which I refused to do due to an excessive 'smart hub' and the fact that their lights aren't nearly as bright and colorful.

After reading reviews & playing around with Phillips Hue I'm so happy I decided on these. They've transformed my tranquility room. The colors are impeccable. The app connection was the only draw back for me but I'm sure with a few updates it will be better

This is a very cool light that is worth the Best Buy exclusivity. The lighting zones are by far the best part. The price is the second. What sucks is the network connection. It is highly intermittent. I wanted to set the lights on at night while I was away only to see through the app it wasn't connected. Apparently when it does this the only way to fix it is to unplug/replug power. That leads to my second complaint is that there is no power button or switch for it. There is a reset switch but it is the type that needs a pen to depress it. Might as well pull the plug. The intermittent connection is too big of a deal that is why I have to give it 2 stars. Amazon Echo or smartphones can't work with it if it's losing network connection. Hopefully a firmware update will fix it. Till then 2.

Couldn't get these to stay on the bottom of my cabinets. They kept falling which was very annoying. When on, the lights look great!
