Another great album of songs from the great Pearl Jam.

Pearl Jam never dissapoints would definitely recommend to a friend

Pearl Jam's career has had ups and down, and this is an up. The previous album "Backspacer" had a similar set up of hard rock song, then ballad. "Sirens" may not be as good as "Just Breathe" but it stands up to the Pearl Jam canon and will surely be a staple at live shows. "Mind Your Manners" is a top flight tune, and one of the 25 best they've ever produced. "My Father's Son" "Sleeping By Myself" and "Getaway" are other standouts. I usually like to let an album wash over for a period of time before giving it a thorough appraisal. So I may amend this in a years time. For now, $16.99 is just too high a price even if the quality of the packaging is above average.

Wow! You would think that after this many years that Eddie Vedder's voice would have gone downhill. But, his voice is still very distinct & amazing! It is obvious that the band can afford to take their time to make an album exactly to their liking, because the results have been perfected. I kept waiting to hear a song that I didn't like, but that didn't happen. I love this album & the packaging. All lyrics are included in this very stylish book. Great job, guys!!

I'm a longtime PJ fan and really enjoyed their previous album, but Lightning Bolt upped the ante. Solid from start to finish. Album artwork is definitely the best since No Code...maybe even better. There's a unique illustration representing each individual song. I was lucky enough to catch 2 shows on the first leg of their tour for the album. If you live in the Northwest US, hurry and try to catch them before the tour is through!

I've been a fan of Pearl Jam since buying Ten when it first came out. Although the band has seemed to evolve musically over the years, they have really stayed true to themselves. This album is no exception. It has quite the variety of musical types, ranging from more punk influenced songs to some of Eddie's island/beach inspired musings. Another fantastic Pearl Jam album.

As a fan since the start, this album ranks in the top 3.I was a bit put off by how much it was promoted and thought it might be forced and corporate like. Not the case. PJ continues to evolve and write about what they experience in this stage of life and careers. Beautifully done. Each time I listen, which is often, I continue to love it more.

This will be recalled as one of Pearl Jam's great albums for not only the music, but also the unique, "collector type" packaging. Whoever came up with this hardcover book packaging should be applauded. Others should take note of the care and detail that went into the creation of this CD. I recommend you buy it the first chance you get.

It's been too long since we have heard from Pearl Jam and this CD does not disappoint. Whether you are a new fan or one from the 90s, this is a great piece of work from Pearl Jam. They continue to play by their own rules, which is refreshing in this computerized age. Hopefully, it won't be another 4 years between CDs from here...

Pearl Jam is one of the last great rock bands. This CD is solid and if you are fan of them, you will not be disappointed. To me their last GREAT record was "Yield" and this CD is a summation of all their styles since that record. Overall, I am happy that Pearl Jam are still around making real music with real instruments (and they rock).

This is a pretty solid album. I enjoyed how different all the tracks sounded stylistically, while remaining recognizable "Pearl Jam" songs. That is a rare occurance for any band, let alone one that's been doing it for so long.

Pearl Jam has outdone themselves in this new album... and have caught up with the new era style of rock music... best new album yet to date and it couldnt be at a better time !

Another great album by Pearl Jam. They are one of the few great rock bands left from the grunge age, but their sound never seems stale.

I was surprised that almost every song on this album is pretty good. Occasionally you get an album where only a few are good from first listen but that was not the case for this album.

This CD has been in my truck player since my purchase. Reminds me of the good old Pearl Jam of the early nineties. Track number eight is my favorite - must hear every time I drive!

Haven't listened to entire album yet, but so far Pearl Jam continues create amazing music and even better live performances. Amazing!

Love the album from start to finish great song like Sirens, Mind your manners sound like new Pearl Jam and old Pearl Jam.

Great cd. Brings you back to memories of the 1990's. Great songs that show Eddie Vedder and the boys still have it.

I could not find this CD anywhere but at Best Buy, so I was so happy they had it and the price was good also!
