I think there are some cheaper options if you warned to mail order, but if you wanted something right now, this is the most cost efficient and best way to get it immediately.

Expand Your Router!

Adding this ethernet hub to the mix was cheap, and I now have a wired connection to everything else in the media cabinet as well (Cable box, PS3, and HD-DVD player (yes, I'm the guy that bought one of those)). It works great. The connection is reliable.

Exactly what I needed

I always prefer to have a hard wired connection for all my devices and this is just what the doctor ordered. I can still connect wirelessly if I feel the need, just prefer the old school security and reliability of a solid connection. So, this is exactly what I needed.
