Exactly want I expected for the need I had. This is the second one purchased. Both work great.

My daughters dorm room only had one ethernet port and although wi-fi is available, I wanted both her and her roommate to have the ability to directly connect to the school network. This ethernet switch did the trick. It's simple to hook up and allows up to 4 additional hardwired connections at the same time (one connection is used for the incoming ethernet). Wi-fi works most the time for them but there are times where it's so congested that a hardwire connection just works better.

It worked as stated. Did not find anything wrong with it.

I was in a need to quickly transfer some data from one PC to another and this switch helped me greatly just out of the box. The device was ready to use and just connect the network cables. Easy to use and fast.

This switch is very compact and fits nicely into my wall mounted data closet. Both the ethernet ports and the power plug are on the same side which is important when using a thin wall mounted data closet.

Its a basic switch. I bought it to allow a 10meg half duplex device to talk to a 100meg full corporate managed switch without having to get IT involved. This thing is a basic switch and there are plenty of times when a basic switch is exactly what you want. For $20.00 it does the job and does it well.

I had an Xbox One and 360 connected to wifi in the house, on the main TV. Problem was I had constant interference on wifi and only one Ethernet cable near the main TV. I used the switch to connect both XBOX's to the single Ethernet cable, since I only use on XBOX at any given time on the main TV.
