Most of the times you don't need to buy an expensive Gigabit (1,000Mbps) switch when you have less than 100Mbps download from your Internet service provider. Unless you have a server in your office with a Gigabit interface you don't have to spend a lot of money on a switch. This is a good choice for most of the home and small office networks,
