A bit overpriced for a switch.

Instead of running cables or purchasing small devices to send Wi-Fi to each device you simply buy this. It's great for hooking up a point of sale system. I don't have to purchase a wireless Wi-Fi credit card terminal everything hooks up to this hub. SAVED ME HUNDREDS of DOLLARS!!!!

I have a few game consoles and like using them with a wired LAN connection instead of wifi. I had a PS4 and Xbox One, and recently got a PS3 so I can play some older titles. I only had two wires running behind the entertainment center to them, so I bought this little guy and it worked like a charm. It's idiot proofed. There was no setup other than hooking up cables. It automatically knows which port is connected to the internet and does everything itself. I have a Motorola cable modem that goes to a NetGear Nighthawk which then has a wire running to this switch. All these components were purchased at Best Buy.

I read "five" ports, I thought that maybe there would be a designated input port for the router, and five output ports to devices. Does exactly what I expect it to do.
