I wanted a router that would be powerful enough to give me wifi throughout my house and after research, found that this was a good bet for the price. Fount it on sale at Best Buy. It was easy to set up and get my devices connected. For the first couple of weeks, it seemed that I had to keep rebooting the router because my devices could not connect to the wifi. I guess it had to work out a few kinks because after those couple of weeks, it all works perfectly and gives me strong wifi through out my house and even into the yard. Very satisfied and love the app for my smartphone.

Easily installed, fast and reliable. We have 4 cable boxes, plus computers hooked up. Everything works well.

The router was easy to set up. It has met all our needs. For house with so much tech we are able to stream without interference.

This router is pretty good. It provides a strong signal throughout my entire house (3,000 SF). They oversell the ability to monitor what your kids are doing when they are connected to it. Basically through the Linksys app I can turn on or off my kids access to the router. It does not allow me to see what they are doing. Overall it has performed well and I get connection speeds that are nearly the same as being directly connected to my modem.

Works very well. Easy to set up. The new app is really cool too. A lot of neat features. Good coverage over our 2000 square feet upstairs and even down to our 1400 Sq ft basement. We have the router on the first floor. We've had it almost two months, and have so far had no issues !

My last wireless router kept going out, so I decided it was time to get a new one. I wanted something that was going to work, and that I wouldn't just have to replace in a year or so. This one was on the expensive side, but I hoped you got what you paid for... It was very easy to set up, and worked perfect for the first week. But then it went out. I tried resetting it, but with no luck. My wife called customer support and spend an hour on the phone with them. They helped her reset it (essentially starting over on the install process). It has worked perfect since. Range is great, and reliability is very good too. I am very happy with this purchase.

Upgraded to this router for one reason, a lot of things running on wifi. Three smart phones, two iPads, Xbox, playstation4. Laptop, and TV. I needed something that could carry the load and still provide fast speeds from one end of the house to the other and this router does it all. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this due to the iPhone 6 supporting wireless AC. I can really tell the difference over my old N router. App downloads are quick and i haven't seen any streaming issues with FaceTime, Netflix, etc. the range is also excellent. I can now use my laptop on the back patio even though my router is upstairs in an interior media room with no windows. I couldn't do this with my N router.

I have owned my fair share of routers; Out of all the brands linksys has always delivered. This router is no different. The range is fantastic and I havent had to reset it once in the three months i've owned it. The app and settings page is intuitive and useful.

I am very happy with the EA6900. Easy setup, great range and performance.

I am thrilled with this new router. It was super easy to set up, and no problems whatsoever. It also has great reach throughout a rather large house. If you're thinking about what router to buy, consider spending a few extra bucks on this one -- you'll get a great product, have zero hassle with set up, and great whole-house, wireless access. A+++

I had to replace all my equipment after a surge came through the cable line. I have been using this router now for over a week and it is way better than my last wireless router which was 4 years old. Greater range and easy to set up and connect to. The app for the phone is a plus also. I can turn off access to any device necessary if i need to.

Very easy to setup. Took it out the box and follow the instructions provided. Finish setup within 5 minutes and started surfing the internet. It's very fast connection on N network, but i don't have any device with AC network. I pretty confident that the AC network would work faster because on my devices with N network still runs fast.

Overall, the router is just as described, handles multiple devices simultaneously with high def video, speeds as stated, but I didnt get much more range then my old router so I needed a repeater, so Don't expect it to add a lot more range then others routers but overall a good router.

This Linksys - 802.11ac Smart Wi-Fi Dual-Band Router - Black was just what we were looking for. We have a very strong wi-fi signal throughout our house on eight different devices in both bands. Setup was a snap. I recommend this router for anyone who has a large home and needs/wants reliable wi-fi service any were in their home.

Great router overall. I used it as a standard WiFi router for the first 8 months or so and as a WiFi bridge since then. Great connectivity and performance. Good user interface for configuration and updates. Not the most attractive component but you know that when you buy it. Quite large which may be challenging to tell from online photos so look at the dimentions. The biggest complaint I have is about the 3 antennas. The antennas do not stay in place if tilted off vertical axis at all. The purpose of the multiple antenna is to provide higher throughput and better range via varying the directions of the omnidirectional antenna to provide the best coverage and potentially avoid interference. You cannot do this with the current setup. I called Netgear tech support who said I could "glue" the antenna in place which is pretty silly because you could not ever adjust them from that point forward. Look for better products out there unless you just need a close range high speed router or access point.

Setup for WIFI was very easy, however getting the USB 3.0 port to recognize my drive was an issue. Called tech support, no help at all couldn't resolve. Figured it out on my own at trouble shooting. Apparently, it does't recognize all 3.0 makes/models - be cautious. The second USB port for printing worked fine after installing an app, they don't tell you that in the directions. The router is fast, very good range, does drop the network t times, USB drives work great after you figure it out, love the guest network and IPhone app.
