It worked well to connect a desktop to a WiFi network. Just be aware that you need to have a way to download the drivers for Windows since there are no built-in drivers.

I had a problem with the built-in card on my desktop PC connecting to the U-verse modem from AT&T. I bought this card to see if it would solve the problem. It does work better but I still have issues connecting to the modem. It's a Motorola NVG510 which I hear has problems and Motorola and AT&T don't support or troubleshoot it. Everything else in the house connects but not my desktop. It's still a good USB card.

This was super easy to install the drivers and be instant connected with a great connection speed.

Nothing bad to say about this product. I got it because I needed a network connection for my gaming computer and it was going to be about 4 months before I could get it hardwired. I was able to game online over this but I went back to a physical connection as soon as I could. Like I said I have nothing bad to say about it, got connected and it stayed connected.
