I needed a good router for a customer that needed to satisfy 200 to 400 wifi devices at any given time without provisioning an enterprise class router. This router fits the bill nicely so far, with powerful signal across the entire premise. Very easy to setup and customize with the option of running custom firmware.

Very fast router that easily handles all of our devices (12+). My only complaint is that I don't care for the guest network setup because it requires the guest to authenticate through a browser. I prefer a guest network setup where you use a wifi SSID / password and does not use the browser method.

Returned for WRT3200ACM

The WRT3200ACM went on sale right after I purchased this router so I returned it to upgrade to the 3200. I have had the 3200 for about a month now and have not had one problem with it yet (*knocks on wood*). I had some concerns initially about the rebooting issue that I'd read online but haven't had to reboot yet. The range has been great, too. I set it up in the downstairs corner (I know...not optimal) of a 2,800 sq ft house and I still get full bars in the far opposite corner upstairs. The internet could be a little faster (around 40 MBPS vs 100 MBPS from our ISP), but I cant complain due to the reliability.

After so many years on the old tried-and-true Linksys wrt54g router, I finally found a worthy successor. I did my research before buying this model, and have been absolutely satisfied with its performance. Integrates nicely into my freshly upgrade Cat6 all-Gigabit network! :-)

My old router died and needed a new one. Was going back and forth on which to buy and as soon as I got this up and running (about 5 minutes) I loved it. Easy setup and the interface is set up for easy administration of even the more advanced features. Glad I bought it!

Have had this router for about 1 1/2 years. Really like it. I have about 10 different things using wifi at the same time and very seldom does anything slow down or drag. Great router for my use. Also, has a very wide range, even without an extender.

Awesome customization options. The speed is well worth the price. I only have a one minor complaint (and this applies to all routers)...why don't they include the reset button on the front. When you have to get to it it is a pain. Other than that it is a great unit.

I bought this router literally the day after looking to see how old my E2100 was. Karma. The next day, my wife text me and says the internet isn't working. We tried the usual troubleshooting but she said the power light was flickering. Ugh. In the previous months, I was looking at several Asus units but was hesitant to pull the trigger. Now I had to. The only units locally available were the higher end and lower end Linksys/Cisco, or the low-end Asus (and a couple no-name brands). I didn't like the reviews of the sleeker Cisco units so I went with this Linksys fella. Big, burly and straight our of the late 90's...this was to be my new best friend. I set it up in a matter of about 10 minutes just to get things rolling. I spent the next hour or so figuring out what all the bells and whistles are. As it turns out, this unit has all the features I was looking for and implements them well. The GUI (both in the app and online) is sleek, intuitive and very efficient. The throughput is a phenomenal upgrade, as expected. But the upgrade to AC, coupled with dual-band co-play really solidified this router's place in my heart. It definitely gets warm, but never hot. The LEDs up front are clear from almost any angle, but never bright enough to distract. That is a problem I am currently battling with my printer and modem, so it's great to see that Linksys is paying attention to how their product fits into an environment. Speaking of fitting in, the thing is huge. It's a foot wide (including antennae) and about 10" deep, once you factor in the Cat 5/6 connections out back. I haven't had much luck boosting signal by adjusting the 4 antennae, but I haven't really felt the need as all of my devices on both floors and outside get 3+ bars with them pointing straight up. If I were to pick out a flaw, it wouldn't be with the router, but with the other units that Linksys makes that are meant to be stackable. Linksys only offers 8-port gig switches. I have a dozen devices near the router, but I guess I should buy a pair of 8-port units and go from there. In closing, I've been running this unit for a couple months with 7-15 devices tasking it at once, and the MIMO "limitations" are not evident at all. In short, well done.

Researched routers for a while before deciding on this one to future proof us into the 4k streaming age. Set-up was a breeze with minimal issues. A lot of set-up choices and easy in house network set-up. Dual band is great and fast easy connection. Front panel ID lights are easy visual reference for current connections. Security options are easy to set up no matter what devices you want to connect. This router is a bit expensive, but as always, you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend this as a solid choice.

My previous cisco wireless router started acting up, so it was time to upgrade! Having had such good luck in the past I kept with what I knew. The AC1900 is very easy to setup & manage, it also provides excellent wireless connectivity throughout the house. Being able to manage the device from the web or my phone is also a MAJOR plus! I also use the router to plug in my older Western Digital 6TB network drive VIA a usb connection. The change from my old wireless router to the new one was streamline and worked perfectly!

I researched routers for quite some time before deciding on the Linksys WRT 1900ACS. I am impressed with the high quality of the build of the product with its' classic design. It was quite easy to set-up with the Linksys on line UI. I had it out of the box and fully operational within 20 minutes. It performs exactly as I had expected it to and I feel it has all the features I need to be future proof as we move into the 4K streaming area of video. So far it is handling the requirements of our home network with ease.

This router is a great upgrade from my old linksys router. It even has a guest network built-in which is good if you don't want to ever change your main network password. Best router for the money on the market in my opinion.

It is just so easy to set up. I had my other Linksys product until the cord went bad on it. This router does very well with my Netflix and other streaming accounts, but I am not a gamer. No, I don't play games.

This has become my "go to" router for the A/V system installations I do. the hardware is very reliable and easy to configure.
The WIFI coverage is excellent and I have yet to experience a dropped connection.
