Normally I would cringe at the thought of wrestling through any kind of electronic installation or upgrade. I had my old router for almost 8 years and I just had to update it and was not looking forward to it. After looking at a lot of reviews I decided that this router would be my best bet. I hated the thought of doing this installation so I set aside an entire day knowing I would be on the telephone with customer support most of the day trying to get this thing running. Well, to my surprise this router was very easy to set up. For once the installation wizard actually worked and everything was very user intuitive. I had this router installed and up and running in about 1 hour total which included getting all my devices routed to the new network. It has been working very well and I am very please with this purchase. Way to go Linksys, you impressed me with this one.

Excellent router. Easy to set up and great coverage. Dual band makes a different for streaming video. No more buffering.

I'm a big fan of Open Source software and use Linux as my Operating System on all my computers. The software installed on this router is OpenWRT which is Linux and it works great! The processor speed is incredible and everything just works. I really like the built-in media server feature...even though I already have a Raspberry Pi serving as a media server, I still think it's a great feature. There are just too many things to say about this router.

Great router, easy to configure, fast, reliable and stable. Pricing was on the high side, but given it's dual core as well as ample RAM as well as the capability of running WRT firmware make it worthwhile.

This router does a good job. The wifi reaches a fairly good distance in an old house with very thick walls

The WRT 1900ACS Router does everything it says it will. The speed with other AC compliant devices is awesome. The range is excellent thanks to the BeamForming technology. Exceeds the Linksys E2500 Router I replaced. Open source code allows you to tweak it to your liking. Was a good choice.

Linksys did it right with this piece of equipment. The setup is quick and easy to follow. Once you are set up, connecting your other devices are a snap. I am also using Linksys range extender and the two work great. Not having any issues with connectivity since the upgrade. Check them out.

I purchased this Linksys wireless router for use in our new condo. The setup was very easy and the router works great with our PC's, phones, and smart TV's. And I could hang it on the wall next to my desk to keep it out of the way. I would highly recommend this router.

Read reviews, both professional tech write ups and individual experiences. Went with linksys based on a good reliable product that is cost effective and somewhat future-proofed. Works great though out a large home, and has been hassle free. I would highly recommend it.
