Out of the box, assembled up and running in under 30 minutes and that was reading the manual from front to back, even though I knew what to do. The user interface/app is straight forward and easy to use. Those wanting more control will/should use the devices web page. I like how you can e-mail the password to a guest. The supplied network cable is short so depending upon where you want to place it have an extra length available. The unit is on the large side but not overly large just know that going in for placement. After hooked up running and all my other devices running I started it to work. Streaming, gaming, Skype you name it. Videos streamed well, no buffering or lag times. I went upstairs, down and outside. As always (plaster walls) signal strength was lower in the basement but still very good. Outside I was about 100 feet from my house and still had signal. WPS button is small to prevent accidental activation (good). Power light is different color so there is no guessing (good). Have been running/using for about 3 weeks no issues. I have not done any speed tests but I have noticed an improvement over my prior router.

I finally got fed up with my old A/B/G router that I needed to restart about once a month to get my devices to connect. I wanted an AC just to be compatible for future product as I think only my iPad supports wireless AC. This Router was much better than I could have expected. I have only had it for a few weeks, but I have not had any issues like disconnects, so that's a plus. What I really like is the Linksys IOS app that I can use to perform some simple functions like, control guest access or parental controls, view currently connected devices, and rename the devices to better identify them. You have to log into the web administration console to get more advanced features though. One thing that drove me nuts with my old router was the very large blue button on the top that flashed when there was network traffic. This router does not have any lights on top but does have lights for the hard wired connections which can be turned off. Pros: - Much better range then my previous router - IOS app is a plus - No flashing lights if you don't want them - No issues so far Cons: - I have not found any negatives at this point.

I would give this product 10 starts if i could, easy to set up and it boosted the signal of my wifi, made significant difference in my download and upload speed. And top of that it's equiped with MU-MIMO technolgy and this gave me freedom of getting my total devices "28" connected at the same time with no lag.

Just received the Linksys EA7500 AC1900 Wi-Fi Router. This router has been nothing short of amazing since I installed it. First off, installing this router while replacing my older router took all of 5 minutes. Once installed I was able to change the default settings to my liking for my home network. Then I came across the Smart WiFi app which I highly recommended you download to tweak your network settings as you like. My older router which will remain nameless costs more and does not hold a candle to what this router can and has done for me. After tweaking of the metwork settings the true test came when I walked into every room of my house and noticed that, where my older router fell short as far as coverage, the Linksys EA7500 AC1900 Wi-Fi Router extended wifi range coverage to those old hard to reach areas in my house. I also got further range coverage outside my front door into the parking lot with a strong signal. All media/mobile/streaming devices connected and synced easily to my router. No hiccups whatsoever in installing or coverage range.

I replaced my Asus router I got last year with the Linksys EA7500-AC1900 router. I had spent a decent amount of money on it, so was hesitant to replace it with a different router, but the Linksys has held it's own. The initial setup was very easy and only took a few minutes. We primarily use the router for uploading photo galleries, xbox, and internet usage on our phones. The only issue I had with the old Asus router was the connection was not very strong on our iphones downstairs. With the new linksys router we have a much stronger connection downstairs and don't experience any lag or intermittent signals. I just did a speed test with our Macbook downstairs and got speeds over 90 mb sec, which is actually higher than our cable company advertises. So for Wifi speeds that is pretty good! We won't really take advantage of the more "advanced" features that some other routers offer, but all I know is this router is getting the job done with our computers, phones and xbox, and in the end thats all that really matters. I would recommend this router.

This router is no better than the last old D link router I had ! I expected it to improve My Wi Fi signal somewhat ! Unfortunately I am very disappointed !

this product was supposed to speed up internet and not "drop" any device while someone was doing something else on another device. No change in speed. Waste of 200.00 dollars!

I received the EA7500 Max Stream from Linksys free for giving my honest opinion of the router. I just received it yesterday. It was very easy to install. The webpages are faster than my other router. If I were in the market for a new router this would be the one I would be looking for.

This was one of the worst items I have ever used. Impossible to set up no tech support from the company. I returned it as fast as I could. Should have stayed Witt netgear!

I've had previous routers. No speed or connection issues with this router. On other ones like asus or Belkin i would have upnp issues, port forwarding, stuff that should just be plug and play. With this I virtually had to nothing. Changed the wifi signal to low since I have neighbors nearby and my speeds and signal strength are amazing. No issues whatsoever. For tech people like me, it's a blessing. So for people who are not tech friendly, this is an amazing product and it is very user friendly when using a computer although I did my setup with a smart phone. Hands down best router I've ever owned.

I have high expectations from Linksys and this product did not let me down. It was easy to set up and is running quite quickly without any down time. I like what the product has to offer and my expectations were met. I did receive the product free for my honest feedback.

First off, we have a two story house and the router is on one complete end of the home in the basement where it comes into the house. The furthest TV is about 55 feet away and through a floor with a drop ceiling and tiles. I went in not knowing what I wanted, only what I needed. My kids have phones and tablets, we have a laptop, 2 smart TV's and 3 other TV's in the house that have devices to get Netflix on. Our previous router was beyond slow if we got two of us on at one time. If we were streaming a movie, no one else could do anything. Even just browsing Facebook, it would not work. So I bought this router thinking it would do what we needed it to. It has delivered beyond our expectations. With a PS4, two movies streaming in from Netflix and me on the tablet, no one experienced any lag whatsoever. This is a GREAT product for the money.

called Linksys said it would work with century link they were wrong ended up on the phone overseas for a few hours of wasted time. Bought the Net gear works great

I bought this router before I could test the performance with 4 K Tv , the power went off its no more booting up at all . Waste of money and unreliable product.

Biggest problem is dropping wifi periodically. Updating did not help. Less important - Interface is cartoonish and outdated. Very disappointed.

Best Buy rep Brett at the Canton GA store really helped me upgrade my router. I had bought a NetGear product the week before and spent the entire week with tech support trying to get it to operate. After enough torture I went back to Best Buy and was informed of the Linksys Product. I went home, followed the super easy instructions and I was up and running in minutes! All I wanted was upgraded speed, easy installation and reliability. I seem to have gotten it all with this product. Thanks Best Buy, Linksys and Brett at the Canton GA store!

Could never get the router to work in my network. Returned the first and tried a second one, but still the same problem.

Cords not long enough and NO ethernet cord !! How can I be anymore direct about a review than when I tell you it does not work for me.

I received this router quite some time ago but was unable to use it originally due to a conflict with my Internet service provider's equipment. After switching to a cable modem I was able to connect this router with no issues and I have been very satisfied ever since. This is a newer generation MIMO wifi router that has the benefit of beamforming technology. Apparently this allows devices on your network to lock on to your internet signal more effectively. I currently have 150/150 mbps and this router has given me great performance on my network. This works better than the old built in wifi signal I used to have with Verizon FIOS. As a second point of reference I recently purchased an ASUS NightHawk router to compare this with. The Asus was alot more powerful and just as easy to use and gave me even broader wifi coverage but it also cost almost $400. If you have a big budget and higher bandwidth on your ISP it may be worth but otherwise I would stick with the cheaper Linksys EA7500-AC1900 Router w/ Next Gen AC (MU-MIMO) listed above.

It's a total waste of money. Had an old functional one and just decided to upgrade. It's a total waste of money and time. Will surely return it.
