Had to upgrade route in house due to increases demands to home automation items. It was a quick and easy switch out and setup of my old router. And it has worked perfectly ever since. The Linksys Smart app make the setup easy to connect wifi. It rated to handle up to 12 connection at one time. But I had 15 connection at one time, and has not dropped one of them or had any buffering issues.

Way better range and no cut off with so many decides going at the same time

This is the second Linksys Router I've purchased - I love it because it covers the whole house - even back in the bedroom where we do a lot of streaming on the TV. I would appreciate set-up directions that are more non-geek friendly because, even though I consider myself pretty tech-savvy, I still had some confusion with the set up directions.

Listen, Comcast's router sucks. The Linksys MaxStream makes it suck less. When you are forced to use Comcast's router like I am, you should definitely purchase this MaxStream AC1900. It was easy to set up, and it has enabled me to use my comcast router at high speeds, even when I'm standing 30 feet away! The sleek styling is also a bonus. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

We were having difficulty reaching all areas of our house with wi fi. Had tried Comcast pods which didn’t help. Best Buy salesman said he used this router in his house and he did not think we needed a more expensive one. Bought this router and it did the trick. This router also allows many people on wi fi at the same time.

The Linksys Max-Stream AC1900 is a good router for the average household. Setup is easy and the Linksys App is super useful. When testing the router speed via the Ookla App, however, the app sometimes will not receive the signal and acts like the router is not online. As far as range, I have a 2,400 sq ft house and I get coverage in the majority of house albeit under the 2.4Gz channel. I wish the router had one more 5Gz channel.

i stream around 8 -9 devices and it has pretty good signal for a single family home. I would classify as a medium-to advanced segment router
