Bought it because my old router went out. setting it up was easy . Video streaming was fast big difference from old router. better picture good router but a little pricey.

I had an old Linksys E3000 and it was getting super hot all of the time. I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk or something like that......what a nightmare on Elm St. You MUST call their techline in India to get it working to the tune of another 100 bucks. I said NOPE and went back to Best Buy and got the Linksys. No problems with installation or activation. A really nice device and no more heating issues.

I just had internet installed and had rented a router through my cable company out of pure fear of having to install and connect a router myself. After adding security cameras onto my system, the helpful employee at Bestbuy encouraged me to buy this router. I'm sure glad I did because while it wasn't intuitive to me all I had to do was call Linksys customer service and they were beyond helpful; talking me through the process until I was good to go and even called later the same day to check on me.
