    Old router was a duel band, but could never seem to get the settings right. Out of the box I had some trouble, BUT THIS WAS ONLY DUE TO MY IN EXPERIENCE. I contacted Linksys telephone support and they had me online very shortly. I have had no issues after that point! I have two lap tops, three cell phones, & I steam all of my t.v. watching. All this at any given time, made a great choice.
