I wish that someone told me I'd only get 5 MBps transfer speed through wifi on the 5G network, it averages 4MBps on the 2.4g. Those who transfer files between computers should consider the next model up. Otherwise it handles 50Mbps very well and I never have traffic issues.

Easy set-up that dramatically improved network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We "cut the cable cord" at our house and use Android TV to stream Sling, Netflix, etc. There is also a lot of work from home and numerous devices being used at the same time. Still, with this router, the network has never been faster or more stable. It was a good purchase.

But when we went to the Cox store we got a different modem and told to go to Best buy for a router...Great advice. Best Buy tech helped and now we save 10.00 a month....

I did not know which to get and an associate helped me find this one as I did not want to spend a fortune but needed something that had good quality. We have been happy with our purchase. It is definitely an upgrade from our previous one.

This worked well for 1 day then it stopped working, not sure what happen. I brought it back to the store.

Not loving it so far.

Very easy to get up and running, but constantly kicks us off our network, have to reset it often too. I regret getting rid of our old one it worked better then this one has so far.

Talked to Tech Support at Linksys several times and exchanged for a new unit but could not get the problem resolved. I ended up taking it back and getting the Netgear router that works flawlessly.

Good mid level router
