Very good signal. Covers my entire home great!!!!!

I live in 2 story house with 4 other roommates and this router does not disappoint! We are all college students and we are constantly connected to the internet. The 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands are perfect on both floors of the house.

Get the 2600 for a better reception and better speed

But it may be noteworthy that the first unit we purchased didn't work at all. It never would connect. We took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for another (exactly the same make / model), and this one works perfectly, I don't know whether that points to a quality issue with the manufacturer overall.

This works great. The speed is great for heavy use.

This router is replacing a previous Linksys smart router I was using. It set up very quickly and it was simple to set the SSID and passwords for both wifi bands and It just connected to my cable modem and off we go. In having a previous version of Linksys router, I know how the advanced features work. I customized a few settings like DNS addresses and other minor settings but I was not able to set up the IP ranges I wanted. I like to play with my network so I had used a 10.x.x.x setup but this router wasn't having it. Not a deal killer but I did have to re-setup a printer with a more normal 192.168.1.x network. If you have newer wifi devices, use the 5Ghz network...it is so much faster. Very good coverage in my multi-story home as well. The only other issue I have is that it is twice as large as my previous router, but also not a deal killer. All in all, this router is great.

We were not getting enough power from our old wifi box and spent a considerable amount of time researching before we made a purchase. This router is everything it said it was and easy to hook up. We also picked a few brains of the Best Buy staff!

Cable company wanted to charge monthly fee for using one of theirs. I opted to purchase this one by guidance of a Best Buy Associate. It works great! Highly recommend if you have multiple devices and want a speedy connection!

From the moment it was plugged and installed by time warner it has been nothing but flawless, along with my linksis ac1750 it's the best combo and speeds are great with one another. Definitely worth the money and not paying any rent from time warner.

My modem is Wi-Fi capable , but would cost me money to activate and $5.00 / month. Extra. decided to purchase Linksys system. un able to hook up thru their internet web site . contacted Linksys support. they needed computer link to access my computer. upon their access to my computer, they determined that my computer was not Wi-Fi compatible. This resulted in an over the internet remote setup which required a different device , such as an I pod or tablet, or cell phone , to activate the Linksys system download. . Upon completion, all was activated and connected to my devices so that I have Wi-Fi compatibility on my devices. Took 3 1/2 hrs.. Since this was done over the internet remotely, access to their site for this unit is not capable. Recommendation: MAYBE.

Did a ton of research to replace our old worn out routers. Speed and capacity were primary concerns but this one comes with so many great options it was hard to pass up, especially with the bundle deal BB had in store with the range extender.

My old router was years old and outdated. A very informed salesman described the item I purchased along with several others. My purchase was based on the information I had and the information shared. Very happy with the purchased item.

Every day without fail we lose internet. WiFi and wired devices all lose connection to the internet. Most days it happens multiple times per day. Nothing is more frustrating than having the wife calling me angry asking if I can restart the router. Luckily the app works well and I can reset it from anywhere. Speeds are great when it works. Signal is strong too. If only it would stay connected. Very disappointed in this product after years of using other Linksys products that have been great.

I gave it four stars because the signal strength isn't much better than the older router. What it does have that is a great feature is the smartphone app to control the settings which is much better than having to hardware your laptop to your modem to do your initial setup and check your system from anywhere!

This is a great addition to the router that the company installed in the house. I can tell the difference in the stability that brought to the WiFi network in the house. Not bad!!!

I was having trouble with my other router and this one works better.

I purchased this router for a small office. I set up the guest network as well and when finished, everything was working, including the guest network. After about 1 month, the guest network stopped working. This model uses an internet login page for guest networks. You connect to the network in your wifi config then open a web page and should get redirected to the login page. Enter a password and voila, you have internet access. This stopped working about a week ago and now I cannot get it to work again. After reviewing other brands, I wish I purchased a NetGear Nighthawk. Their guest network is set up like the main wifi, set a password and authentication scheme (WPA2) and users connect the same way as the main wifi. No web page login screen.

This one has been pretty good since I got it back in early 2018. Great equipment connectivity. No speed drop when multiple euipment connected. Moved from a NetGear to this Linksys and Am very happy with it.

I’m not particularly tech savvy, so I asked for help choosing this router. The agent recommended 2, I read the reviews and went with this one. I’ve not been disappointed. It was easy to set up, covers our quite large 100+ year old house quite well. I am very satisfied this far.
