The router was easy to set up and it's been running without any problems at all for the last month. We've had good speed and reliability.

I replaced an older router/modem combo unit that had much better reach for the 2.4ghz frequency. But, the machines that can connect to this one are much faster now. So, overall I think it is a good product.

This thing handles all my devices-iPads, iPhones, streaming on my tv, MacBooks. I literally have 6 devices going on at one time and the quality of video does not diminish.

This replaced an older Mac AirPort Extreme and I am not disappointed. I really like the app that shows what is connected, plus all of the other neat features.

Sales person dissuaded me from buying an enhancer and recommended this instead. It replaces a poor AT&T device that could not reach most of my house, and my only casualty is a very old IPAD. Great help!!!

I have always relied on Lynksys routers although my former models did not last more than a couple years. I had a difficult time installing this model but got help and now it works fine. Will see how long it lasts.

I have to mess around with the settings but so far everything seems to be working smoothly. There seem to be WiFi issues that I have yet to investigate if the culprit is this router or Intel's trash WiFi drivers.

This is a good entry level AC router. Higher bandwidth available on more expensive units. For the typical home user, this device is adequate. For heavy duty streaming/gaming, I would suggest a faster unit.

We have a large house, and with our Comcast Modem/Router, there were some dead spots in the house. We checked out a few different selections in Best Buy, and are happy with our purchase for a 2nd Router in the house.

If you have not replaced your 3 or 4 year old router and are looking for smooth streaming, and a rapid response this is the way. No more freeze ups making my streaming experience very enjoyable. Worth the investment.

Hi, Brian,
Your EA7500 router need not be rebooted if it's properly configured and the firmware is up-to-date. We'll take this chance to have one of our Escalation Engineers contact you to sort this out. Please drop us an email at [email protected] with your contact information and the link to this review.

Cox was pushing for me to get a more expensive one. Thankfully the retailer at best buy said this was fine for what service I'd be getting.
