We're curious about your challenges in setting up the EA7500 router. Supposedly, setting up this device should always be fast and easy using the Smart Setup Wizard. It is embedded in the firmware and is available even if the router does not have an Internet connection or is in its default settings. I continue to lose connection. I have used the app to designate which connections get priority. I look at this on my phone and compare to the priority on my tablet and the assignments are different. So i dont think that is working properly. Should be the same assigned unit, regardless if i use my phone or tablet to change the assignment. Not real satisfied, lesson learned. Will probably try a different brand next time.

It is possible that the range extender may be too far from the main router. We suggest that you relocate your extender slightly closer to make sure that it has a strong connection from the main router.
