The router is very good and has a strong signal. The only issue I have is rebooting the equipment once a week because of performance lag. Otherwise good product

Quite an upgrade from the old router. Have gamers in the house and much faster. Easy to hook up and start using.

My wireless connection is a lot faster with the Linsky. I have no problem using various tech devices at the same time and i have a better range. I can use my tablets or laptop in any room of my ranch house which is very long.

I bought this to replace the AC1900 that had week range. This router has better range and signal strength.

I'm not super computer savvy but this is the most expensive Wi-Fi router I've ever bought so I was really hoping for some magic. I'm not sure if I need to change some specifications - it seems to work well but nothing earth shattering. We have a lot of devices constantly running and my husband is a pc gamer so that pulls a lot as well. It handles our demands well like I said but, I haven't ran any tests or set any custom specifications and probably should.

Could not set up the Linksys EA 8500 wireless AC dual-band router without help. 3 calls, upgraded software and about 2.5 total hours with Linksys and i am up and running. Needed 2nd level tech support.

Definitely impressed with this router. My WiFi speed went up 12-14 and alot more range.

Bought this recently for our home. We use multiple electronic devices in the home. No dead zones and very fast wireless internet.

Router was and running in just a few minutes. I'm not a techie, very simple to set up. Great coverage of house. Very happy.

I received this product for free as part of Belkin's Friends + Family Program. My review is entirely based on my personal experiences and is an honest representation of my opinion. First off, I have cable internet service, so the performance I've been getting from my cable modem only setup has been fairly dismal. When I was offered the opportunity to add this Linksys Smart router into the network, I was excited but concerned about the possible limitations of the cable system on the network performance. I quickly found, however, that I shouldn't have worried. Not only did this router improve the performance of my network - especially for streaming Amazon and Netflix - it BLEW IT AWAY! Setup is fairly straightforward, although I did have to go to the Linksys website to get additional information on setting up this router with a cable modem in the mix. The information was easily found, though, and easily followed, so not a negative at all for me. I had experienced terrible performance in the past when TRYING to stream...almost to the point of just giving up. With this new router, however, I am able to connect - and more importantly I think - STAY connected while streaming content. It's so much nicer to not have to reboot or reconnect half a dozen times while trying to watch a show. I'm also very pleased with the performance when multiple devices and users are all trying to use the bandwidth at the same time. In our house, between the computers, tablets, watches and phones, there are at least 10 devices connected at any given time. I've noticed a significant uptick in the throughput while several people are surfing, gaming or streaming at the same time. The footprint of this unit is a bit bigger than others, but the performance makes that a non-issue for me. This device more than adequately covers both the inside (of a 5000 sq foot house), the garage and the yard outside. Highly recommended for anyone trying to get several people online at the same time - especially if some of those are gaming or streaming. Well done Linksys!

Neither my laptop nor my wireless printers accepted the higher speed. Had to buy an expensive additional USB adapter to accommodate the higher speed for my laptop. Have to reassign the "Guest" account to use my printer.

This router does everything it claims. It is fast. No degradation of speed when multiple devices are on network. The stronger signal actually reaches our "dead" zones. I no longer have to use a repeater. Easy to install.

EASY SETUP. I HAVE IT LOCATED ON THE 2ND FLOOR OF THE APARTMENT COMPLEX I OWN. IN THE BASEMENT I AM GETTING A FULL SIGNAL.

This router works perfect for us. It has helped our home become wireless. We have satellite internet and needed a great router to become wireless and this one is awesome. It has great strength and works even outside

Devices were running slow, plugged this baby in and no more dead spots and pc now offers full streaming with no choppy views

I get connection all over my house with multiply devices. I would recommend this router to anyone were money doesn't matter. This router may be to pricey for some.

Recommend getting the extended Warranty at Best buy!! it comes in handy. Device works great and has a good range. EZ setup

Happy with purchase. Super easy set up. Easy to use. Works well, fast and no issues after 4-5 months use. Would recommend.

Works great! 4 of us in our house hold, with over 8 devices running simultaneously (phones, tablets game console etc....) we now get great signal on our pool deck as well and have no use for a range extender anymore.
