It is fast, not sure if it's faster than others with these specs, but seems to get the job done. I have had several disconnections on both 5 & 2.4, not sure why. Router is centrally located within home with very few walls, so it is a bit disappointing for the drops. So far so good.

You are expected to experience a stable connection once the router is installed. To isolate this, try changing the wireless channel of both bands and adjust the position of the antennas. The original was only in use for 9 months but worked fine with our IP. That is why we chose to replace it with the exact model. Easy to install. Since we were just replacing hardware we only had to plug it in, connect over internet and it was up and running.

The app that you can download onto your phone makes it really convenient to diagnose or to figure out what devices are connected. The overall ease-of-use and experience with this router has been excellent. A good plus is you are able to cut off the internet to any of the devices that is connected.

A very good Wireless Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had about 30 different Linksys Wireless 802.11 routers over the last 18 year as we'll as Belkin, NetGear, Dlink, Buffalo, and others. I tend to like Linksys for some reason. Decent software, UI, updates and features. I use this one as an Access Point - easy setup and good range. It looks pretty cool as well.

Basic set up is very easy.

Expected to have great coverage throughout our house compared to our previous router, but although there is a stronger signal in the back of our house, it's not as strong as I had hoped. Wish Linksys provided more help for advanced configuration of the router.
