finally found a router that will give me connection to our second floor and that can handle all our devices at the same time (a smartv, 2 Xboxes, 3 desktops, 3 smartphones and 3 ipads). Yay.

This was a no brainer for me. There are essentially no more lag times or no loading times anymore. This is how streaming music and movies and playing games online should be. Well worth the expensive price.

I bought this router with the help of a best buy employee. I don't have any experience with electronics. I called LINKSYS customer service they were very helpful setting up router with me. LOVE MY NEW ROUTER!

This was recommended by a tech for Best Buy. We've been thrilled with how well it works. We can run multiple TV's and Roku at the same time all over the house. Should have spent the money on this years ago.

I bought this router to upgrade my old dual band router that put out 700 total, this one beats it by far. Especially since I have a gaming computer that requires a healthy steady connection

As we upgraded to a Smart TV we needed a stronger Wi-Fi Router. The Best Buy Sales associate recommended this one based on our usage and home size. It has been great and we have not had any issues.

I received this product for free as part of Belkin's Friends + Family Program I am a woman 45+ years of age. I didn't grow up using computers and came to them late in life as many people may age have. I am not completely computer illiterate. I have learned a lot over the year. I am not computer wiz but I am able to diagnosis problems and figure fixes for many issues on my own. I am able to find solutions on m own when I cannot figure something out and through step by step guides fix issues. There are still many things I need help doing but I am a bit more advanced than the average user my age. This gives you a frame of reference for my skill level. I think that makes a difference when reading reviews from other people. I was a bit intimidated when I found out what type of product the early adopter program was sending me. I really don't know a great deal about wireless routers. I intentionally did not read any reviews or product descriptions before getting the product and working with it. I did not want to go in with any preconceived ideas or expectations. I have been very pleasantly surprised. When I first opened the box I was surprised at the size of the product. It is larger than any router I have had before. I was also concerned that my casts were going to have a field day with the four antennas. I know understand that the power of this router requires a larger footprint than the routers I have now and in the past. The worry about my cats causing problems with the antennas was needless. They fix firmly into the router and and if nudged or bumped they do not come loose or shift out of place. Set up was a breeze. There was o need to look at the instructions. It was obvious where all the parts went and how to hook it up to my modem. Initially you will need to hardwire the router to set it up but that is a minor issue in my opinion. Wireless set would be nice and I would prefer it but it's by no means an issue that would influence my purchase decision. What I really did not and do not like is that I needed to make a account and have the router be accessible online. It should be optional. I hare that I was required to do this. It is the reason I took off one star from this review. This is a major consideration when choosing what product to purchase and I will opt for products that do not require this over ones that do. I did not have and set up issues. I use the set automatic set up. I needed to restart my modem a couple of times. I followed all prompts and within 20 -25 minutes I was up and running without issue. I immediately wanted to test the power of this thing. I had the kids connect their phones, handheld games, and laptops while I connected my computer and the PS3. We had eight devices connected at once and hand not a single issue. I steamed Netflix while the kids played games and used their phones. I am very impressed with the power of this router. I have had no issues. The kids are whining about someone hogging the bandwidth and I love that that I can controlled the router right from my phone. We have held off on getting a premium wireless surveillance system and smart home technology because wee knew our previous set up would never be able to handle it. After using this device for the last month and the excellent service it has provided we are ready to begin shopping for these new and better technologies for our home. I am definitely a very happy customer.

This router was exactly what I needed. Having two bandwidths to use was the reason that I got it. This helped me get to spread out the use of internet in my home. This is a great router for any home.

Speeds are good. Web interface is slow. Firmware currently has a major security hole in it. If I hadn't already purchased it, I would not buy it until the security hole is fixed.

Another great product suggested by Best Buy. Love the fact that it has 2 wi-fi sources with 1 dedicated to the 4K TV. I have a great wi-fi signal throughout my house including the entire back yard.

This router has gets great range with a high signal. My router which is upstairs allows my TV to stream shows and my movies to my livingroom downstairs. Plus the smart wifi feature is an added bonus.

I have slow DSL because that is all that is offer d in my area. This router really makes the most out of it with upwards of 12 devices in the house including a 4K high def tv. Very good router!

My old wifi router was 9 years old so it was time to upgrade. I have been pleased and the only thing keeping it from being a 5 was range...which may be due to router placement.

Great router. Bought this for our office / warehouse. I had reviewed it online with others but the salesperson was very helpful and said it was the best bang for the buck. I agree with him.

Chad at the Williamsburg store was very helpful in this purchase, easy to install , the only thing is there is an orange light that blinks and I haven't figured out why yet.

Just what I needed after having returned 2 other similarly priced routers by another manufacturer. The Linksys720 is rock solid in stability and high performance wifi to extended range and speed.

This unit brings wifi to our whole house and works very well. The upgrade was worth it. I lost a lower model in a storm and replaced with this one an it is much more stable and powerful!

Yes, it's been a while since I upgraded my modem and splitter, but when I did, with this product, it so vastly improved my home wireless experience I didn't know what i'd been missing!

I set this up replacing an older N600 Netgear router, and I can honestly say the setup was a breeze. I followed the instructions and got it up and running, including the physical setup portion, in maybe 10-15 minutes. Speedtest app on my iPhone gave me huge numbers over the older N600 I was using. I live in a ~2200 sq. ft. two story home. My backyard, garage, living room, and across the street all get great reception. I'm not too sure why there has been so many negative reviews with this device. Everything is extremely intuitive. I set it up on a MacBook running Yosemite, had zero issues.
