IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH FOUR (4) HARD DRIVES! Why isn't this info on the box, or clearly in the provided materials - which, by the way, are very skimpy. [What happened to the old LinkSys?]

We'll take your feedback into consideration with regard to indicating the compatibility details on the box or in the provided materials. We've found the article that you are referring to and although there are only four (4) tested USB external drives indicated, it doesn't mean that the others drives will not work with the router. We'd be happy if you'll reach out to us at [email protected] in case your external drive is not working with the router. Our Escalation Engineers would be happy to test it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, right out of the box I wasn't impressed with the signal strength received by my devices in different areas of the house. The first and second day we had "Limited Connections" and on the third day, it died. Tried rebooting both manually and online with the app. But no go. Took it back and upgraded to the ASUS RT-AC3100. This ASUS rocks!
