Excellent for large house with multiple users.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this router so much, not a place it can't reach. It has an easy to set up FTP server so that you can access your files anywhere. The linksys smart wifi also allows you to change your router's settings straight off your phone. Amazing router if you live on the internet like me.

Pricey but worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router performs as advertised, I have a ton of devices both wired and wireless all running through this router and it handles then all. My first one bricked itself trying to update firmware. Best Buy took one look at it and swapped me a new one no questions asked. The second one has been flawless so far. I recommend it if you can swing the cash, and have lots of connected devices. The remote management app works great as well. You can manage the router remotely with your phone. Works perfectly, zero issues. The local management interface is a breeze as well. Port forwarding and such is a snap, better than any other I've used. I only mess with that stuff because I can, not because I want to. Usually I hate it but the router makes configuration very easy.

Easy setup for a powerful tool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have ever dealt with wireless routers, this will be a no brainer. We were up and running with the new router in less than 20 mins. Strong signal throughout the house on the 2GB signal, some difficulty in accessing the gaming 5GB signal. Will try to resolve with Linksys.

Good Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this router based off researching it. The app is good and the router is good. The 5ghz band range is a bit shorter than what I expected. But everything else is great. Not the prettiest looking device but I hide it behind the TV. Also having many Ethernet ports is love! Just in case I want to hardwire anything.

Everything I expected!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router has been great. Much better than my Asus ac68u. Both the 2.4 and 5 Ghz frequencies run superb. Everything was super easy to set up out of the box. Not sure if it could have been any easier. Interface is very user friendly. Really happy with this purchase.

Best Router I've had
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is the best performing router I've ever used. It performs better then the most expensive router produced by the "N" named competitor. If you can find a V2, (I couldn't at BB), it will be even better.1.8Ghz Quad Core Processor on box.

Great Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this router now for a few months and it works great. The range is fantastic for my house which is also shaped like an "L" and it reaches all the way in the back. The fact that I am able to bridge the Comcast modem/router to this router works out perfectly. Sooo happy about this purchase

Expensive but worth it. Fast, fast, fast.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No problems setting it up. Customer support was polite and helpful. TIP: call them because they will help you maximize the router. The default settings do not provide the 5 GB speed. It takes 2 minutes. No problems. Blazing speed. Expensive but future proof.

"Kills the Conpetition"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great overall performance. The Linksys team paid attention to every part of the unit and great quality control. My previous two routers were Asus and this is my first time owning a Linksys router. I will never purchase any other name brand in the future!

I feel like an airport!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow. Just, wow. I was a little intimidated when purchasing this thing. It was the first one that I had bought about six years. During that six years I had apparently accumulated over 30 different devices that are attached to my Wi-Fi at home. Smart TVs, streaming boxes, cell phones, tablets, smart home devices and what have you. When I started reading online reviews, this thing seems like overkill. That is when I knew that it was the one that I wanted because I did not want to upgrade again next year or the year after. It has so many separate channels so that all of my devices can stay connected and use only what they need to. My favorite part is the app. I can set time limits in my kids' rooms. Or I can completely toggle their devices on or off from my phone. While it may have seemed like overkill, it is the smartest purchase I may have made this year.

Beast of a router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am coming from the nighthawk X6 and this thing blows it away. I was having trouble with soo many devices connected (30+) it was bogging down. I tried the VELOP, and that was a fail. I ended up going home with this router and wont ever look back!

You need this in your life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shouldn't even have to review this. This product is amazing. I had 3 different TV's streaming Netflix, 2 iPads on the web, 1 phone, and one computer and there was zero lagging. You should buy it. Because, well, you need this router in your life.

Day one impressions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned the Orbi and purchased the EA9500. I had spent over 5 hours with Orbi customer service trying to get the Orbi to work. We were never able to get my network fully connected. I was able to get the Linksys up in less than 10 minutes and everything is now fully connected with out having to call Linksys customer service. The Orbi had lots of promise, but when coupled with essentially their 90 day warranty (tech support) and the $200 cost to extend it for 2 years, there is no comparison to the Linksys 9500 that comes with three years warranty and tech support. As for coverage, this single unit so far appears to completely cover my house (3 stories). Connectivity is great so far, but have read that this can change over time so will monitor it. My first day impression is that this is the best router I have ever bought.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does everything I need to do and more, did lots of research before I bought this one. I can say it's one of the best routers on the market right now, I have used Linksys products for the past 15 years and really haven't had any problems ever.

Excellent router. Didn't bottleneck through put.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to replace a WRT-1900 Lynksis as it was bottlenecking throughput on a new new 500/500 Mbps fiber service. The AC5400 didn't bottlenek any of it. Great coverage too in our cinder block walled building. Excellent distance on 5 Ghz.

Need a litter extra boost for Wifi?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old wireless router was good for a small house. When I bought a new house with 2 floors I needed a router with the power to supply multiple devices in the whole house. The guest network feature is great! Easy to set up and use.

Blew my mind!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a owner of Netgear products howver over the recent years they have only copied that of their competitors. I noticed this monster and sure enough not only did the hardware capture my attention but the user-ability and features that set this piece aside from the others. "Free" App to control your product from anywhere on your apple or android device, free FTP setup yes that is free no monkey business. Remote file transfer and a lot more, I cant tell you how annoyed I am with the other brands constantly trying to focus on design as if though you wanted a hardware device to be a centerpiece while doing very little to provide you with the cost in hardware/software design. Linksys EA9500 is a beast of a router, do not underestimate the power of it.

Great router for Big homes or large areas to cover
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been an amazing router, I live in a small house, but surrounded by 5 acres. Having this router I was able to have internet covering most of the front part of the land, This is useful for setting up a wireless camera system.
