Linksys says that this is a home router but this beast is so strong you were think it was made for business. Best router on the market! Hands-down! Something that would have taken me 40 min. to 1hour to erase and restore my iPhone only took me 10 to 15 minutes. Even though their customer service is terrible this product cannot be beat!

I have a slew of wireless products, and a 3 story townhouse with the router on the bottom level. Much better coverage on all levels even without range extender, covers all my products with 2.4 and 5, AND even has guest access with a password. Still trying to figure out access to external hard drive remotely!

My IT company said get the router with the most antennas for my home. This router has 8 antennas and 8 Ethernet ports. Overkill but I don’t want my router to be the weak link in my setup.

I have 18 devices and they are all working great. This includes Video Cameras in which I have to use an extender as a bridge amongst other things. And even this set up including Port Forwarding was easy. My range has been extended and the download speeds have improved. Overall an excellent router for any one who wants either to tailor their home networking needs or just want to plug and play.

I would consider myself a power user of routers. I have probably 30 electronic components that access the internet through my router at any given time, including stereo equipment, streaming media players, phones, and tablets. I hated dropping the money on an expensive router, but some of the shortcomings I was experiencing with my Netgear Nighthawk X6 made me want to see if there was something better out there. The Netgear would occasionally need reboots, and didn't have the span of signal that I felt it should have. Anyhow, hooked up the EA9500, got everything connected to it, and then used it for about a month, running it through all the same paces the Nighthawk X6 did. The verdict: The Linksys has been returned and the Netgear is staying. Perhaps there was a small smidgen of increase in speed and signal strength, but I can't justify spending the money for a router that did not distance itself from the Netgear I already had. I only had to reboot the Linksys a couple of times over the last month, but the 5G signal was weak. I ended up having to use the 2G connection for anything that was far away from the router, the complete opposite of the Netgear. So speeds in outlying rooms were hampered by the Linksys' inability to broadcast 5G signals enough. This was a deal-breaker for me...

Easy to setup and runs 4k streaming and online gaming well at the same time.

Router is serious business. If your ISP is right this router is going to get you where you need to be. Strongest connection I've ever had in life. Best Linksys product on the market. Overkill? Absolutely, but who cares this thing is amazing! Again, your ISP needs to be right meaning you already need a pretty fast ISP to really enjoy or make this product worth the buy. Speeds of 100+
