This is a beast of a router!

It has a signal strong enough to cover my whole home upstairs, downstairs, and the neighbors down the block... (a good reason for the 128 bit encryption). Great consistent strong signal allows all 5 of our TV's to stream while two of us surf the net. Zero network resets required so far with this beast of a router.

Performance wise, no complaints. Its what you paid for.
Unfortunately, as more of a professional (i picked this over used enterprise stuff because I wanted warranty and to not hear my equipment in home) I find the interface very frustrating to use. Interestingly the mobile app is much more pleasant to use when managing anything.

This has been a great router! I have around 50+ items hardwired or wireless and this thing has worked without issue! We will have a number of people streaming or playing online games in the home at one time and this router handles it without issue. I actually can not remember the last time I have even rebooted it.

It was so easy to set up, almost a plug and play system and the signal reach covers our entire home, yard and down the street. So far no signal has been dropped due to the 9600 only by service provider. However when it comes back on the system start immediately. Cost is high but well worth it.

My neighbor has this same router and told me how great it was He is right! We were having so many problem with our computers and tablets going offline all the time. Since this has been in our home we have not had one time that we go offline. I mean, we use to have problems daily! So love this router!

Expensive but you get what you pay for. The basic setup is easy but it has plenty of features for an expert to play with. The range is great, I can go 60ft from my house to my workshop and still stay connected. Another feature I really like is the 8 LAN ports. It allows me to connect all my entertainment equipment and have room for expansion.

I bought this after looking at Velop. Needed a network switch and to expand our wireless traffic. We have a Apple Time Capsule. We would lose wireless connections. Bestbuy representative recommended this. Now we run both device and have great coverage. Setup was easy, and customer service was awesome.

Router is straight forward and easy to use. Can be configured for more advanced users but plug and play out of the box. Has a good reachable wifi distance and stylish. Has been dependable as it has been installed for several months now. Supports a guest network if you wish.

I have two sears in my house that have always gotten poor WI-FI speeds making connection extremely spotty and difficult with constant freezing and buffering. Once this the Linksys was installed my Download speeds increased dramatically, THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE HOME! NO MORE FREEZING OR BUFFERING

I am not technologically gifted, I anticipated difficulty in setting this up. However, I was surprised, it was almost a snap. I just followed the basic instructions, and it was done. Performance has been very good since then and i have had zero problems. It has hummed like a champ. A good purchase.

No lag. Easy to setup. It is quite bulky so make sure to leave room for it to breathe. Do not underestimate the size of this thing. You get what you pay for though. haven't experience any issues with disconnecting or people jumping on my internet.

This cutting edge three band router delivers a powerful punch Of performance as well as a pretty smooth interface the router can also connect to android or Apple devices and allow remote and or local Device management the device will require a small area it's size is comparable to a netbook or at least three netbooks stacked on top of each other

Good Router with Occasional Loss of 5Ghz Frequency

The ethernet connection and the 2.4 Ghz frequency are very fast and reliable. The 5 Ghz frequency occasionally stops working which requires a reboot which is aggravating when it happens. The range of the signal is excellent.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the occasional loss of the 5 Ghz frequency.

Originally purchased so I could give my existing WRT1900ac to mother. Turned out she didn't need one, so kept the EA9500 anyway.
Compared to the wrt1900ac, the ea9500 is rock solid stable. Occasionally the wrt would lock up knocking our thermostat offline. This would then force a power cycle of the AP. No such issue with the EA9500 and the first firmware update.
The ea9500 performance is about the same as the wrt1900ac. With the exception of the 2014 Mac mini using wifi with a great improvement, the iPhones, iPads, and Surface Book all perform the same. The other gear is infrastructure using only G or N.
The ea9500 signal distance is about the same. My wifi signal cuts off about the same spot while walking the dog.
Have not found any specifications on throughput of spi firewall, so this device is strictly an AP for me with a dedicated firewall upstream connected to 75/75 fiber Internet.
Wish the ea9500 could be wall or ceiling mounted. The other negative is the included USB wifi dongle (wusb6100m) is Windows only.
