Buyer beware...version 1.1 of this Router was released in 2016 and the latest firmware update for that version is from May of 2017. Version 2 of this Router was release later in 2017 and the latest firmware update is from March of 2018. Version 1.1 has a dual core 1.4Ghz processor and 256GB of RAM while Version 2 has a quad core 1.8Ghz processor 1024GB of RAM. I bought this Router in November of 2020 and received Version 1.1. Unfortunately Best Buy does not indicate which version of the Router they're selling. To determine which version you've received you must open the box and look at the Model version number that's stamped on the bottom of the Router. As the Best Buy website didn't specify which version they were selling...and given the premium price tag...and with it being 2 years since the latest version of this router was released...I assumed I would receive version 2 of this router. Disappointed that I received an older version of the router I returned this product prior to use.

The build quality on this thing is great, it has a nice look to it, and functions as well as you would expect it to. it's a little on the larger side so make sure you have plenty of space wherever you're going to set it up.

Easy set up with my limited knowledge and experience. Immediately noticed a good increase in download speeds compared to my previous equipment. Range is also far better. App on the phone is also a plus. I am truly enjoying my internet now.

Easy set up. Easily control access to your network. App for your phone so you can monitor and block internet connection. No more arguing with your gamer kid to get off his game. Just open the app and turn off his internet to the old Xbox.

I bought this to replace a Nighthawk X6. The Nighthawk's 2.4GHz network stopped working properly after just 2 years. This Linksys unit works great. And, it's much faster on FiOS (no ONT). Hopefully, it will last a long time.

My uVerse service is 75Mbps down but only getting 25Mbps with their supplied gateway. Replaced with this and now get 75Mbps down and crazy transfers within the network to other computers.

Fast. Controls my North State fiber gibabit internet and gives super fast wireless connections. Wired Ethernet connections run at 1gigabit speed up and down. 3 year warranty and great tech support for 3 years. Best value available.

This router provided a nice bump in speed from my old router. I had one issue with setting this up but I called the 800 # and with very little wait was able to talk to a CSR who knew the product and was able to quickly resolve my problem.

best wifi router ever, wifi strength is awesome totally worth it

The set-up for this router was really easy and I love the app that I can use to monitor and control the router. I've been using it now for more than a month and love the speed and connectivity that I get for all the devices in my household.

I was having trouble streaming tv shows due to a slow modem/router and inadequate internet speed. This router did the trick. It's superfast and I now have internet speeds above what I am paying my cable provider. This is an awesome router

Have 300mb internet and I get the same speeds on WiFi as I do wired. Also no speed drops with all of the smart home devices we have, about 15 of them. Have had no issues with the router at all so far.

Replaced 2 airport extreme with this one. Works great in my house with brick walls. Good coverage and fast. Also like the prioritization. Only had one issue with it and a galaxy tab s3 and to fix shut of ipv6 Would recommend

I replaced a trial on Netfear X10. FAR BETTER. setup easy, NAS outside of network work first time. Very easy to map all 57 connected devices. by FAR the best router I have owned. I really like the Smart WiFi feature.

We were having a lot of trouble getting good reception around the house and out in the yard since we've switched to this new unit it's totally amazing Wi-Fi everywhere, it works through cement walls and a much longer range !!!

I have had many other routers and didn't beleive any could exceed what I was already experiencing but this one totally rocks . The 8 ports make it best for a busy home and the wireless reaches places I didn't think were possible

This router is easy to setup and has a nice remote access app that allows you to manage list aspects of the router. One 2.4 Ghzand two 5.0 Ghz channels allows for multiple streams without effecting their speed. The signal strength is good but not as strong as my previous router.

This router is super fast and looks really cool sitting in a room. We knew our WiFi seemed slow, but when we put this in we realized how slow. We should have made this purchase much sooner than we did.

Needs a separate expander - may be two or three based on where the reach is required

If your looking for fast easy internet this is a great router! Wifi range is insane and the ping on my speed tests has dropped from 30ish on my old unit to around 8 on this guy, a total recommend here.
