Based on online research, I chose this Router because of the extensive capabilities in three bands - simply put, it ROCKS! And, wireless coverage in my home has improved drastically since installed.

Great connection speeds but a monster of a unit and wouldn’t fit in the smart home space hence just had to make room in Den. Other than the massive size it is a great buy.

This is a great router for anyone looking for speed throughout their home! My previous router required a range extender and did not function as well as this one does alone. Great buy!

Not only does this router enhance our wifi capability but it look pretty cool too!.... it's not small for those who like compact products but it does it's job above and beyond what we need!

This was very easy to set up, just disconnected the one from Suddenlnk and plugged this one in. We went online to set it up with all our devices (we have many) and it’s fantastic.

If you don't mind the price get it. It has so many features like parental controls, better range, guest access, device prioritization to name a few. There is also an app to control the router.

We researched routers prior to purchasing this one. We felt this router was one of the best ones for the money. We have been very happy with the router; the speed is impressive.

Don’t know much about these Best Buy recommended this router. And has done everything I’ve needed it to. Seems to make my internet quicker for online gaming.

I have had a couple months to run this through all kinds of speed tests and real world tests and the Lynksys EA9500 router passes every test with beyond exceptional coverage and speed no matter where you are in our 2,000 square foot house. I will start by telling you what we use the extra bandwidth we receive using this router which replaced an older Cisco Linksys WRT160N router so needless to say it's like a night and day difference in speed and coverage and I cannot stress enough just how good the EA9500 is! First of all my wife works at home and has her own office, which is where the router is setup at. It is located on the main floor in the front middle of the house. She works for the local hospital whom provides her laptop and the old router. With the old router she would have disconnection problems and since we received this bad boy she hasn't had any login, dropped signal issues, or system lockups which has reduced her stress tremendously. We also have 3 of our own laptops, 1 tablet, 3 smart TV's, 4 android phones, a ps3, ps4, xbox 360, and 2 Dish network receiver's and all are running off of this wireless router. Now of course they aren't all running at the same time but we have had most of them running at the same time which is the reason she was having the issues I mentioned above. Now, my wife can be working while my daughter is streaming Netflix on her laptop while doing her snap chat on her phone and I can play my game's online in the living room while my mother in law is in her living room downstairs watching dish and we have speed to spare! No more worries about disconnections on any of our devices no matter what we are doing and that makes the expense of this router well worth it and I will definitely recommend this to any and everyone! I did have some issue's on where to put this because it is over twice as big as any router we have ever had. So I ended up on moving the router off of her desk and onto a 2 door file cabinet which works perfectly. Just so you know how big it is just picture 3- 12 inch laptop's stacked on each other and that should give you an idea, but with the speed of this router it is not an issue. Last of all is the range which is another amazing feature of the EA9500 that has rendered my Lynksys Max-Stream AC1900+ Range Extender all but useless fortunately and unfortunately since we get a full signal on our phones and laptop's all the way across the street and almost to the neighbor's back yard before it starts to drop and I can't go far enough in the backyard to lose any signal. This is awesome to a point! You have to make sure and setup all the security that this beast offers, which it has more features than most people will even know what to do with. But with that said, there are an abundance of information on the Lynksys website and there support staff that I have dealt with, have been more than helpful in resolving any questions I have. As a Network Tech, I can safely say that this is by far, the best and fastest home router I've ever had the pleasure of setting up and using. If you still are on the fence about buying a $400 router, just try it out for a week for yourself and if you're not satisfied then you can always take it back. That is one of the great thing's about Best Buy, they give you a plenty big enough return window to try it out with. But I doubt that once you get this hooked up and running, that you will be at all unhappy with it! Thanks for reading my book and I hope it helps.

So far so good! Seems faster than what I had before, and capable of handling Google Fiber when it's finally in my neighborhood. Pricey, but I got a good deal on it, so it was worth it.

I was having trouble with the one provided by my cable company provided, which was intermittently dropping my signal. This works great no lagging, off-line, etc.

This has got to be one of the best routers out there. I have solid Wifi signal throughout my entire house. I get speeds on Wifi just as good as if it was connected to Ethernet.

I have had so many issues in the past with there being too many devices at the house and not being able to get everything seamlessly online. This product has resolved my issues

Definitely worth the upgrade to this router. It supplies all my streaming needs and other connections. It’s size is a bit big but it does the job!

This unit exceeds the demands I place on it for my WI FI needs. I live on the forth floor still have a strong signal at street level . I have 20+ electronics that use WI FI no problem.

This router works great in my home. Everyone (4 people) all have phones and computers and we all get what we need from this router. Great Product!
