Always had problems with wifi in my house. This product solved my problems & has made my life so much easier. I love it.

I have no more bottlenecks in my Wi-Fi network anymore. The addition of an 8 port gigabit LAN switch was very welcomed!

if you have a lot of device going all the time this is a most have product i can say its works wonders for me and my family's needs

I have a big family and had a 5 year old router, I have several 4k televisions, PCs, Laptops, tablets, cell phones, a few Roku's, Amazon echo, echo dots and a couple of Xbox Ones. With many of them running at one time router wasn't working very well (a lot of buffering) so I purchased this router knowing it was a little overkill but have had no problem streaming since installing it. Installation and setup was fairly easy Great parental controls. A little expensive but I felt it was worth it.

My first one stopped working in the first three months. This one has worked flawlessly and is easy to set up.

I have owned probably 5 routers in the last decade and I will say that this one has been the best one so far.

This router is perhaps more than I need ; but it works flawlessly and maximizes the performance of my Network . As technologies seem to upgrade every year it made sense to me to be able to take advantage of future improvements . I fortunately could afford this , taking advantage of a sale price and Best Buy Reward dollars . At the moment I am getting a download speed of 37.5 Mbps and upload of @ 6.25 Mbps , with a ping of 17 ms. Your results will vary according to your service provider and equipment .

When I opened the box, the only thing I could say was WOW. With 8 antennas, 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports (yes 8, no more Ethernet switch) usb2 and usb3 connections, and 3 bands ( one 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHZ) with a total of 5.3Gbps, this router means business. It's attractively designed and has enough vents to prevent it from getting more than slightly warm. It feels and looks high quality. Set-up was very quick and easy through LinksysSmartWiFi. It pretty much installs itself. It has 2 guest networks, shows a graphic layout of all of your connected devices, has a built in speed test and allows for all of the usual customizations. It also has an app for you to control the router remotely. I currently have 15 devices connected combined Ethernet and wireless. While all 15 where on we streamed video to 4 devices simultaneously. Video quality was superb with no glitches whatsoever. Signal strength is strong throughout my house. While walking through my house with my laptop, WiFi Analyzer showed a signal strength of -10dBm. I have never seen anything close to that from any router I have ever used. It also showed an improvement of 100% in signal strength vs my last router. And that's only because 100% is the highest number it can show. This is more expensive than the average router, but with the above features plus a 1.4GHz dual core processor and Multi-User Mimo technology I think it is worth it. Linksys also includes a 3 year warranty and 3 years of free tech support, which makes it a better value. .

I bought this to stream 4K HDTV. This one is more than fast enough and the wireless coverage is better than anything I've owner before. Setup is super easy.

I have no complaints it works pretty good I have 7 devices and ever since I got this router everything runs fast and smooth.

This was simple to set up and with 3 bands to use I don't have any problems with all my wifi devices.

Works great. This is a powerful unit with great speeds, and three separate bands. One at 2.4, and two at 5.

Pros: Easy Setup Lots of gigabit Ethernet ports Speed Cons: Device footprint is fairly large Setup: Overall, the setup was extremely simple. Simply unplugged the old router, and plugged in the new one. Then connected to the default wireless network which is listed on a card in the box, and browsed to 192.168.1.1. Once there, the setup wizard walked through the key settings. In all, less than 10 minutes from unboxing it, to connecting it and setting it up. Very impressed with the ease of setting this router up! Use: Blazing fast wireless and Ethernet. Copying files to the fileserver was fast both on the wireless and wired connections. The limitation on speed there is not the router but the hard drive itself! The best part about this router is the tri-mode wireless where the router automatically balances load to the best spectrum for the device connected to it. The signal is rock solid all around the house and I even get full bars upstairs with the router in the basement. Again, very impressed with the signal strength. I attempted to use the media port on the router but for my hard drive it didn't seem to recognize it for some reason. Connected another drive and it worked just fine so I think my other drive just doesn't work with it. The features there are pretty basic and work great for simple media serving and file sharing. I'll stick to my WD EX4 for now but this is a great feature to have built in on the router. In summary, I'm very impressed with this router. It's fast, fast, fast! Would definitely recommend this router for a small office or home office with multiple devices connecting to it wired and wirelessly. The speed is important when you have a large number of devices and frequently copy files between computers or stream media like 4K to a TV, and you still want to copy files at the same time without affecting the file transfers or streams taking place on the network. Another point to consider is that with this router, you'll be future proofing your network with good expandability with the latest technology.

works great can get wifi in back bedroom now and phone works with out lifting arm up when laying in bed

This router is really great, supports many devices. The admin access and options are outstanding. Easy to use and configure.
