Bought this router to make sure all the streaming would be smooth after i got rid of cable & it works great.

For $400, you expected a nice boost, but I lost signal around the corner. I really wanted to like this, but my Netgear 1900 was doing the same as this and it is 4 years old.

I bought this router so I could have wifi range in my house and backyard. I spent so much time tinkering with settings and I couldn't get results that were as good as the asus rt ac3100. The asus the was cheaper and gave me better results. 4 antennae were better than 8. I returned the linksys router and kept the asus. Great that it hast 8 ethernet ports

I bought this to replace my netgear nighthawk. It surpasses the nighthawk and all expectations.

Always been pleased with Linksys products. Bought this EA-9500 after reading online review and needing to improve home network. Replace an AC-1900 Linksys router and immediately noticed better wifi coverage throughout the house. Would highly recommend! Best Buy had the best price I could find. Only dissatisfaction: The manual has mixed languages throughout and is EXTREMELY difficult to use. Very aggravating. I have never seen a manual like this.

My internet is a lot faster with this now. Everyone is connected & no more freezes. Love it

Performs well, fast connections on both networks (Smart mode) and snappy GUI. Unlike the other current Linksys models, there isn't an overall wifi scheduling tab. That's a huge disappointment considering the price. I need this feature as do others I would bet. Is this coming in a firmware update Linksys? Soon? Expensive but has a longer than usual warranty and mine came with the USB dongle. Fix the firmware, then I can safely recommend this product. Docked one star because of the lack of a critical, missing feature.

Was excited reading about this new technology and how much it would improve over my AC1900 model. I seem to have more not connected to internet issues than before. When it's working however, it is great. Netflix 4K streaming can last for many hours without any issues. But then sometimes, it loses connection, comes back, and then loses connection. Maybe a firmware update will help, since it is still very new. Because of the cost of the unit, and these erratic disconnects, I would not recommend this to a friend just yet.
