You can also control the LEDs on this. It may be large, but I have mine on top of a bookcase...so no problem there.

Just recently upgraded to gigabit internet and wanted to make sure my router was not the weakest point in my system. Also knowing there will be a lot of devices using it. It is a LARGE router. Bigger than you expect. There isn't any way to mount it to a wall, so that's less convenient. Was hoping to have a larger range than it does, with it being a triband and rated as one of the more powerful routers, but it seems to have slightly less range than my AC1900 did. Luckily I did purchase the extended warranty. A couple weeks after I got it, the 5G stopped. I rebooted the router and the whole thing stopped working. Bestbuy replaced it, but learned the extended warranty doesn't just automatically switch over. It was prorated and I had to pay a couple dollars to have it on the replacement router. Why is that BestBuy? This should transfer WITHOUT having to repurchase it on the next unit. Since the 2nd router has been installed, which installation is very easy and I do recommend getting the app for your phone, the router has been performing well.
