Purchased two of these wireless routers because the density of wireless devices at my office was increasing dramatically. These triband routers were easy to install and our network performance increased dramatically. Last Sunday we had 60 cell phones a dozen computers and a 5 Gigahertz Video transmission system using the system. Awesome throughput. Great tool!

After doing a lot of looking and research I picked this unit up. Just recently upgraded to gigabit internet and wanted to make sure my router was not the weakest point in my system. Also knowing there will be a lot of devices using it. It is a LARGE router. Bigger than you expect. There isn't any way to mount it to a wall, so that's less convenient. Was hoping to have a larger range than it does, with it being a triband and rated as one of the more powerful routers, but it seems to have slightly less range than my AC1900 did. Luckily I did purchase the extended warranty. A couple weeks after I got it, the 5G stopped. I rebooted the router and the whole thing stopped working. Bestbuy replaced it, but learned the extended warranty doesn't just automatically switch over. It was prorated and I had to pay a couple dollars to have it on the replacement router. Why is that BestBuy? This should transfer WITHOUT having to repurchase it on the next unit. Since the 2nd router has been installed, which installation is very easy and I do recommend getting the app for your phone, the router has been performing well.

I went through 2 others in trials but this one gave the maximum output for 1G internet service

We have FIOS through Frontier. The combined modem/router isn't able to broadcast wireless adequately through our home. Bought the Linksys to upgrade the router portion. Works great! Strong consistent signal with no drop out yet. Gaming, TV, internet and other devices stay connected.

A solid performer and nice interface. Works as stated. However there are shortcoming's especially with the guest network. One can not suppress the broadcast of the guest network name and the guest network does not support specifying the type of security. These are big shortcomings in my opinion that Linksys will hopefully correct in future firmware updates. Until then, I have the guest network turned off.

This is number 2 router. The first router lasted 24 days. If you buy this do so with the in store warranty. Yes it comes with a 3 year warranty but to use that you must send it back to the manufacturer oh that is 6 to 8 weeks no WiFi. Like I said if it is working you can expect very fast speeds. I'll have to see if this one keeps working

The router itself is very nice. A sleek design with plenty of connection slots for hardwiring in new devices. You can connect it to the linksys app on your phone or go to the website provided and veiw everything about your router. Although it has improved my connection because I have room to hardwire in my PS4, the wifi itself hasn't changed much for me. It is definitely better, but not as good as I had hoped for.

Use it in a high use area and it works very well..
