Love it! All I wanted an more! I really like the custom options provided my the manufacture right out of the box. This is the best router I have ever bought!

Even upon receiving my delivery of this Linksys EA9500 something notable stands out. I picked up the box and immediately thought there was an issue. The box seemed unusually heavy. I thought this couldn’t be the item I had ordered. I opened the packing box and low and behold it was in fact the Linksys router. This thing is a beast weighing in at nearly 4 pounds. I quickly sensed this was a sign as quality. My previous router weighed ounces. This sense of quality was further confirmed as I opened the box to reveal the router and the detail to which it was wrapped. Each antenna individually wrapped for protection. Nice touch. On the box I then note that Linksys has included an impressive 3 year warranty and 3 years of tech support. You can’t beat that. The appearance of the router is stunning. It is quite large with 8 antennas so you know it means business. I eagerly wanted to fire this baby up so I removed the router and searched the box for instructions. Surprisingly the documentation included amounts to a 2 page pamphlet quick start guide. I very quickly realize this was totally adequate since setup was a breeze. I should note that there is a CD included with additional documentation for those who may require it. I did the automated setup and opted to sign up for a Linksys Smart WiFi account. This great feature gives the user the ability to access your router from anywhere over the internet. I love the very slick interface with a multitude of Smart WiFi tools and settings including network map, speed test, guest access, media prioritization, and external storage. All features I look forward to playing with. I quickly appreciate the guest access feature as I can easily set a password for visiting friends and family to use. I have a 2,000 square foot home which was previously a commercial space which was renovated into a home. The walls are much thicker than your average home. My old router an AC1900 struggled in regard to coverage and speed with video constantly buffering on the second floor. For me this is where all the amazing specs (Tri-band, 4 streams, 8 antennas, MU-MIMO, dual core, beam forming) of the EA9500 hopefully all come together to make a difference. As I connected numerous devices to the EA9500 I could immediately witness a huge difference in connectivity. Unlike my old router I had wider coverage and increased bandwidth throughout my house. Instead of buffering now I found that I amazingly could even easily skip through streaming video with immediate playback. I have nearly a dozen devices connected and the EA9500 handles them all perfectly. Netflix, Pandora, Apple TV all function seamlessly as if on a wired connection. That was my goal and Linksys delivered! This is a top quality and highly recommended product which is well worth the investment.

I am really satisfied with the router. I have not had any more interruptions in programing since it was installed. I installed it my self and it was a breeze.

Bought to replace our other router that couldn't keep up with the growing demand of more wireless devices at home. Works as expected.... excellent purchase!

I absolutely love the Linksys AC5400 Tri-Band Wifi Router. I have two of them, one for our main home and the other for the lake house.

The router that dreams are made of. I have 100mbps internet that I pay for and in the far reaches of my home I receive over 120mbps at times even while streaming.

Love it. With the app you don't have to fight your kids to turn off their devices connected to the internet. You can easily turn off manually or by schedule.

Works great I own the house & property next door And have wifi at both locations full signal Long rang well worth the extra money I spent on this router.

We've been using this router for a couple of weeks. It has really made a difference in our house. No complaining from upstairs that the internet is slow.

I was having a lot of internet instability problems so I looked for a better router and this Linksys ea9500 did the trick now I never loose my connection .

Okay so let's get one thing straight with this router. It is absolutely overkill. I doubt anyone in this country will have enough bandwidth currently to take full advantage of the capabilities of this router. I can see recommending it to one particular customer and a couple of subsets of that. If you have Google Fiber with those amazing Internet speeds then I can definitely recommend this router because it will make you love your networking setup. My connection is fast there is no doubt about that, but approximately 75 Mbps is nowhere near what this router is capable of. I could see it distributing a signal strength five times what I have myself so testing for a maximum speed is absolutely purposeless. It is going to take full advantage of all that my Internet is capable of. How instead I am going to review this router is based on my day to day usage of the router itself. It is absolutely amazing. I am coming from an already substantially powerful router, Linksys EA9200 (AC3200), and it is staggering how much more consistent and reliable the signal is from this router. Once it is properly set up there really is no day to day maintenance required for the router so for those that are inept to networking I can see those customers loving this router. The range is superb and I have no complaints about it. The biggest thing that makes me love this router is how well it distributes what Internet I have to my devices such that I have no delays in what I want to do. If I want to use 3-4 devices at once in my home for Internet intensive things then I can absolutely do it. I've had 4K Video Streams going while my laptop is doing an update to Windows 10 and both were going at reasonable speeds. If you are concerned about the setup process of the router then you will be pleasantly surprised. Most of the setup is attaching the several antennas that provide such a strong distribution of Internet. I personally recommend you let the router distribute your devices on the 5 Ghz Band because it does an outstanding job of it. Some people would be concerned with how large the router is, and it definitely is, but I think it just looks awesome. it makes you feel like a true networking guru. For those whom are wanting to set up a router in a small business environment your IT Professionals will love the 8 Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch built in. Really if you are just wanting to leave no doubt in terms of future proof-ness on your networking setup then I highly recommend this router. Also it has the best unboxing experience I've ever had on a router. Linksys knew that this was a serious piece of hardware and everything about unboxing including the 3 year warranty shows that Linksys has some serious faith in it.

I expected the range on this to knock my socks off. That didn't happen. The range and speed of this was not dramatically different from my prior router, my EA6900.

This is a nice router. It does a good job at balancing all the devices. One thing I noticed it the 2.4ghz signal goes a good distance. However the 2 5ghz signal strength is not that impressive.

My boys are very pleased with the router. Their computer games and PS4 gaming doesn't lag anymore and I'm thrilled because my boys aren't nagging me anymore

I received an EA9500 Max-Stream router free from Linksys in exchange for my honest review. With its eight antennas, eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, the EA9500 offers an impressive appearance that promises extreme performance. It doesn’t let you down either. The Quick Start Guide setup procedure for the EA9500 was fast and easy. My network was up and operating in no time. The WPS button for the router is on the right side panel next to the Wi-Fi on/off button. Yes, this router has a super convenient on/off button on the right panel. Pressing the button turns the Wi-Fi radios off. When you need Wi-Fi again, simply press the button and the radios come on. Wonderful feature. Thank you Linksys for providing that! The EA9500 Smart Connect band steering feature ensures the highest performance on your network by balancing your wireless devices across its two 5GHz bands. I saw performance increases across the board with signal strength, TX (transmit) rate, and Wi-Fi coverage. Streaming HD content from multiple devices in various locations, the EA9500 performed solidly. There was no lag or buffering, just beautiful video from Apple TV, Netflix, and YouTube. I also had external storage connected to the USB 3.0 port. HD video streamed flawlessly to my devices. The EA9500 gives extreme performance for your home or office network that simply won’t quit. This router wins hands down. I love it!

This Linksys router is everything as advertised. It delivers a Wi-Fi signal to our devices instantly. Never had a device that delivers so quickly...

We were having some major internet with our old ASUS router, and I decided to upgrade to this one. I haven't had any issues with it yet, especially with all of the devices we have in the house.

This router has everything. If you have a static ip its a bit cumbersome to setup, but once its up it does everything and then some....love it
