My Wifi demands are very high with over 30 items connected to my home Wifi network, the router provided by Verizon was adequate but I was found wanting more in the range and speed department. Problem solved with this state of the art router by Linksys! Fist off it is a large unit and comes very well packaged with the router, power supply, short Ethernet cable and documentation on a CD. It also has some nice heft to it, doesn't feel light and flimsy which is certainly satisfying. I have Arlo Cameras, a Wink Hub, Sonos, August doorbell and cam among numerous Apple TV's etc so I was prepared for some installation glitches due to all of the things I have going on...boy was I pleasantly proved wrong! I cascaded the connection from my Verizon supplied router to the EA9500 and at first I didn't get anything but then turned the Verizon router, Linksys and IMac off then back on and voila! It all worked! Right off the bat I had no issues, setup appeared and I was ready to configure everything to my liking. All settings are available from either the desktop, browser on a mobile device or the Smart Wifi App. It's great to see everything on the Network Map and it's real handy to be able to prioritize devices such as Apple TV's to insure they have the best signal possible when needed. The range on this is incredible, I am still tweaking the proper placement of the eight...yes eight antennas...to get the best signal throughout my house but it's pretty good right out of the box. There is a tremendous difference in range and in places where I had issues before such as my garage now have a very strong signal and the signal now extends throughout a large portion of my property outside as well. As for speed, it is blazing fast transferring the 150/150 I have to the house over 5hz to all items capable of such speeds.. Overall I would recommend this to anyone seeking uncompromising fast, whole house Wifi, with ease of setup and great customization options...

It's a good router overall. Never failed with linksys. Just giving a 4 stars because i didn't get coverage for the entire house for my 2400 sqft home.

I am still having connection issues but now think it is not just the router. Working well though if I can just figure out what is slowing me down.

We had a different router that failed We bought this one and the speed of connection and searching went alot faster

I love this router and would never replace it with any things else in the world.

The Router lives up to it's hype and even better is it's Control page and how much you can customize it.

This is way better than you get from STI or any cable company up in the mountains

Great router but I would definitely get a ASUS router since they work much better.

I like this product. It would have been nice to have a WPS button on it. I like that it has a guess WIFI selection automatically.

This thing is a beat! Literally. If you're looking for a small router, this is NOT for you. Its about the size of a dinner plate. SET UP: this took me about 15min. I am a design engineer so these things are usually pretty easy for me. However, if you aren't tech savy, dont worry! The set up instructions they give you are really easy to follow. SPEED: I was previously using a netgear wireless router, in which i need an extender for my entire house. This Linksys router doesn't even come close to needing an extender. The speed has drastically increased, my loading time on the WiFi has increase so fast its unreal, i certainly wasn't expecting this much of an increase. It probably increased my speed by 5x, easily. APP: i'd highly recommend downloading the app, it has some minor flaws but easy to get around. This will allow you to see who is connected to your router, set parental controls (website access/block internet) and also allow you to change router name and password. PROS: crazy fast speed, easy installation, individual ports, ability to prioritize devices that are connected (if you want your smart tv to stream movies and use more power than your phone, you can set that up), up to 6 devices can stream the same amount of power (rather than one taking up more - unless of course thats what you want, then prioritize). CONS: the only con and it certainly isn't a con to me but could be for other people...the size, like i said its about the size of a dinner plate and there is no proper way to set it up vertically. (think of a dinner plate on the table, compared to placing it in the dishwasher) - it'll only properly lay like a plate would on the table... Overall: HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended. Hadn't realized how much power i was losing of my internet connection through WiFi until i got this product. Great device, 3 years of service included.

I installed 3 of these and had great wi fi both inside my house and all around the pool and back yard

This is easily the best router I have ever owned. It fixed all the signals we were having. Much faster too.

I purchased this router in November of 2017. Set up was easy and worked great when it worked. After about 1 year, I started having to restart the app weekly, then daily, and after about 6 months, it stopped working completely. After spending nearly 2.5 hrs on the phone with tech support, they deemed the unit defective and sent me a refurbished unit. Now, fast forward 1.5 years, and I am in the same situation again that followed the same path as last time. I am 3 months outside of the 3-year warranty and am now left buying a replacement. Several other reviews are saying the same thing. **BEWARE**

Extreamly easy set up and easy use, would recommend to person with a big home larger than 1800 square feet.

Just what I needed for my household. It services all the family needs and very good with speed.

This product was brand new when I bought it so maybe there working out the bugs but I'm sorry to say I would not buy or recommend to anyone
