This product was brand new when I bought it so maybe there working out the bugs but I'm sorry to say I would not buy or recommend to anyone

Had great reviews and was advised in the store had to get internet from back hpuse to front , less than 40 feet. Unfortunately didnt work out . Connection would die as soon as enter the front house. Tried to mess with location nothing worked out. Returned got the extenders . Happy so fat

First off, I must say this is one the best routers I've gotten my hands on. The connectivity, the power, the range, all exceptional values here. Overall, the product has proven to be great in all areas of what you'd expect from a router at this price point. If you're looking for one of the most powerful routers on the market, look no further than this EA9500 Tri-Band router from Linksys. The range is phenomenal; I have a 1600 sq. ft. house and every corner of it is covered by this guy. The speed is also great; it's not going to boost your ISP speeds, but it will transmit whatever speed you get to every device at once, without any hiccups. In my week with this router I haven't had to reset it once, nor have I encountered any dropped signals, which is awesome. Next, the amount of power this guy possesses with it's dual-core 1.4 GHz processor in order to transmit all of the devices and speed around the house is great, while the router itself comes equipped with the USB ports you'd expect, with file transfer speeds of normal here. Lastly, if you have a heavy usage home (ours is 20 devices at once, which isn't a ton, but half of them are demanding ones) or a big home, you should check out this router. As I mentioned before, this will cover most home sizes, and deliver the speed and performance you'd expect from something with this price. The only gripe is the size, and it's not too much of a complaint due to the nature of a powerful device needing more room to work. But that aside, the router is fairly big, with no wall-mountable option it seems. Overall, a great piece of hardware though. If you have a big, demanding, or fast network in the house, look no further than this EA9500 from Linksys.

I got the item cause I wanted a better range n little faster. I have the fastest WiFi frontier offers. So I got this item thinking it would push threw the hole house and won’t crash. NOPE same results as frontiers modem. Waste of money! This item isn’t worth it

This router demands a premium price, but has a premium build quality to back it up. It's large, heavy and solidly built. Setup was relatively easy. If you've set up a router like this its the same process with connecting to the router and going through a setup wizard. The web-based router dashboards are clean and well organized, and all load quickly. I've owned a few routers and this is the first where the menus load up almost instantaneously. There's a lot of room to play around in the settings, but not so much that you'll get lost or end up making changes that counter others. There are also some parental controls built in. I like that I can block certain sites from individual devices. That'll come in handy with my kid's iPad Signal quality is very good and the WiFi reaches most of my 2800 Sq. foot house from the basement. My modem is wired in the basement and most of the basement ceiling is filled with metal duct work and steel beams, making wireless networking a chore in my home. I added a Linksys range expander and was able to retire a few Airport Expresses with better coverage. There are 8 (!) antennas on the base that can all be positioned for better coverage. Around back are eight Ethernet ports. Four is usually par for the course, so I was really happy to see all of them. I was able to eliminate a switch from my setup. Also included are two USB ports for file sharing. I haven't gotten around to playing with them. My only complaint would be the lack of well-defined status lights. Linksys opted for a rather abstract system of lights. Also, I would have liked an option to wall mount the router. There are no mounting holes. Given the weight of the base, I can't say that I blame them.

I bought this router to replace a small one that I had...The connection is fast and no issues at all.
