Best Buy is the only place I buy mind tv's lap top etc from they have a great an honest staff.

I love this router. Set up was very easy. I plugged it in and was up and running within a few minutes. Lightning fast! My home has 15 different devices and I needed something that could handle all of them. This device does that and more. It's a tri-band router. It has one 2.4 ghz radio and two 5 ghz radios. One of the best features (personally) is the ability to control what has access to your network. There's a nice little network map that show every device's name and mac address. You can even give specific names to each device so you'll know how to identify exactly what's on your network. There's also the ability to deny internet access to any device on your network. I like this feature because I can control when and how long my kids have internet access. The configuration features with this router are the best. So far I've had no problems with this router. You can even hook up an external hard drive for network storage which is cool if you need that feature. Haven't had any range problems or signal dropping. Don't be alarmed by the size of the router. It is pretty big compared to other routers. But that was no problem for me. I'd gladly trade size for reliability.

It is a beast of a router and highly recommend. Many features. Only negative is high cost.

I could tell from just opening the box and removing this router that it was going to be something special. I was not disappointed upon plugging it in. Set up was simple and had it working within 5 minutes. The Smart App download is a very nice way to keep track of who/what is logged on. Only downside is it did not save my password and I did not remember what I had used when I set it up. It did ask if I wanted to save it but it could have been a Google issue. The forgot password link worked fine and had me using it again in a few minutes. I've had as many as 8 devices connected at once and was streaming 4K on Netlix on one of them with zero issues. No drops / signal loss in online games using the PC or on XBox live either. Not as much of a heavy gamer as I used to be but I did play some multiplayer Doom while streaming 4K on Netflix with no problems whatsoever. The router looks high tech and has about the same footprint as an XBox One. In fact it would sit right on top of one and blend in together quite nicely. The 8 antennas coming up from 3 sides are comical in a good way. It just looks really cool. I'm expecting it to start catching flies I was able to connect to this router in my car about 150 feet outside my front door. I did not attempt to connect any further away than that. Definitely a 5 star router. It's now been running perfectly since I plugged it in 5 days ago. I'm sure there are some features I have not used yet but I fully expect anything like that to perform flawlessly as well. Well done Linksys!!

Upgrade from apple router. Can’t say I notice that much speed but definitely supports more devices
