This router is exactly what we needed to boost our WI-FI

Massively improved speed and access for all of us and our multiple devices

Fly through the air with the greatest of ease !! WiFi connection is strong and fast. Anyone who knows the pain of updating apps and OS on your devices knows how long it can be. Not with this bad boy !! Multiple devices updated simultaneously including those monsterous MS apps and never slowed down or dropped connection even while I was sending videos. The helpful iOS app is just easy to use. No need to log onto your admin page for basic management. The app takes the guesswork out and is very user friendly. You can manage your network from anywhere, see what devices are connected, manage your guest network (love this - separate password and everything is already there) and includes a QR code reader for the wifi info which makes connecting other devices a breeze. (No more taking pictures of the bottom of the router - lol). Definitely a must have if you want reliable, fast wifi connectivity. Not to mention it looks pretty nice on the desk. No hiding this in the corner. Hey friends: Buy this and you won't even need me to set it up for you !! :)

I wanted a router that could handle my Up to 100Mbps/10Mbps internet service. And keep up with my growing homes need's for WiFi. Heres a run down of what is communicating with this router. 4- TV's 1- Whole home DVR 2- Audio receivers 2 to 4- Iphones 2- Ipads 2- MacBook Pros 1- Desktop computer 2- Wireless surveillance cameras 1- SmartThings hub 1- thermostat Several Wi-Fi light switches and outlets 1- Roomba 1- Xbox One 1- Apple TV 1- Printer Seems like every day I'm adding some thing. With my old router things would start to slow down if to much activity was going on at once. So bad that I ran cat6 cables to every thing that could use a LAN line. Well now I don't feel the need to do so. For testing purposes I have unplugged every thing and only using Wi-Fi. And haven't experienced any slow downs at all yet. This router easily fills my home with full signal on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. My router is no longer the bottleneck of my internet. I get the same speeds vs my LAN connection. Setup was very easy. I was up and run in less than 10 minutes after finding it on my door step. If your serious about your Wi-Fi internet then this Wi-Fi router is for you. I don't think you will be disappointed with this one. Only CON so far is just the size. It dose take up some Realestate on my desk. It is approximately 1 foot by 10.5 inches.

I've been running the Linksys Ea9500 Max-stream Ac5400 Tri-band Wi-fi Router for about 6 months. I have 22 connected devices both ethernet and wifi, including computers, iPhones, Androids, tablets, tv's, tivo's, stereos, cameras and AP's. Overall, this is a much improved router than what Linksys has been turning out in the last few years. Range is much better, though still disappointing, and the Android App is a great addition. In the course of the last 6+ months, I've lost connectivity, both wifi and ethernet, and had to restart the router a total of 5 times. The last month, I have not had to restart once. Apparently it's becoming more stable in it's new environment. Range is better, but on it's own, will not cover my 4200 sq ft house. At it's limits, the signal shows strong but in reality there is very little throughput. If there is a wall or floor between you and the router, it will cut the throughput in half or more. I cannot reliably stream from Youtube or Tivo 40' through 2 open doorways, but can stream from the curb 40' away through a pane of glass. Stay within 20' and this router will serve you well. When setting up my cameras, FosCam and Hikvision, it became a frustrating experience. The router eventually recognized them but took a week. Since then, the connection has been around 80% remote stable. Much better than previous Linksys routers. I love the 8 ethernet ports - reduces my switches by one. It is big as everyone has noted but is handsome. It could double as a centerpiece on the Thanksgiving table. Now that the price has come down to the $300-$350 range, I would recommend this router.
