Not a bad router but if you already run a tri-band AC router, I’m not sure it’s fully worth the upgrade. I have a household that’s running 20-25 connected devices. I’m not an advanced user, so just a disclaimer about that. My comments are based off a week of use and may change as time goes on. Hopefully for the better as I learn to tweak some settings. Pros Use – I’m not a power user so I can’t attest to the uber features. Overall it was easy to setup. The web interface is nicely laid out. Easier to deal with than my old Netgear router. Ports – 8 Ethernet ports right on the router, that’s nice. My old router had 4 and I was finding myself trying to prioritize devices between two locations. The second supported by a MOCA adapter that also only had 4 ports. MU-MIMO – It appears to work. I’ve noticed that my phone is has more pep on wifi than it used to. Cons Size – This bad boy is big. I may have to reconsider my device arrangement as the primary ones were in a shallow height TV stand. This won’t fit on the shelf and I have to leave it exposed up with the TV. I have it there because that's where my cable modem is feeding the DVR. Speed – This isn’t so much a con as it is just not the results I was expecting to see. Transfer speeds aren’t any faster than they were with my other router which was also an AC3200 router. Price – It’s probably the most expensive home router I’ve seen to date.

I brought this item to replace an older slower netgear router , but half of my home equipment did not see the Linksys WiFi. Even when I did a manual input. So after several atempts, I had no choice but returned the item to Bestbuy.

This is a good solid router for multiple devices..

I loved the router and the speed it provided, it just conflicted with my modem because my modem is wireless, and I didn't know that at the time of purchase. Otherwise if I was in the mode for a new modem that is not already wireless. When I hooked it up to just my computer, the speed was super fast.
