Wireless freedom at last
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is large but it has power to match the size. Faster wireless now after replacing older Linksys. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but with maxed out specs and all the personalization options most of us need it has value beyond the cost. Easy setup allowed me to match passwords to previous settings so all my devices connected seemlessly. No drops or dead spots after several weeks of use with multiple devices. We are pleased and recommend this router to anyone.

Top notch, high performance, worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a large 4 bedroom house and wifi was sketchy at best in some areas of the house, well not anymore, even at the furthest points the speeds are blazing fast, my youngest son's bedroom is at about the furthest point you can get in the house from where this router is set up, and he connects vis WiFi, with our old router as well as the one supplied from Cable that was supposed to be adequate he would experience lag and frequent buffering, if able to download video's at all, not anymore, always connected, videos literally download completely in about 10 seconds, no lag, he also plays intense hi graphic games online now with no issues, no delay, no lag, just smooth seamless play, no need to keep resetting the router as we were used to with the old set-up, all of our devices function without issue, multiple phones, tablets, desk top systems, as well as their friends who use the guest feature, I have had up to 15 devices connected and in use at one time with zero problem or drop in speeds, if you need coverage for a lot of devices over a large area I highly recommend this router, it gets 5 stars from me.

router is good but could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this router it was easy to set up the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of 2 reasons 1st it is really high priced the second reason is for such a high end router it does not have VPN access like others in its price range also there could be more features for the price that I paid but it over all is a good router and my signal was greatly improved over the last router I had and the speeds are crazy fast

This my second one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is quick and easy to set up. My first one was defective and lasted less than a year. Probably just an odd one off. No problems and speed is consistent with 5 devices going all day.

Great range and solid performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router has worked out great. The range is dramatically better than my prior router and overall speed has been very good. Steaming movies has never been better.

Highly recommend for larger houses
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decided to upgrade from basic router ISP supplied with package. Kept having inconsistent internet before. This router has very strong signal. Set up was easy. Love the linksys iPhone app! Can see who is on and disconnect guests late pm (let my teenage son on guest network so he is cut off after 11pm). Have several iPads, iPhones, laptops connected at once. Great for watching Amazon or Netflix. Never any problems!

Beast of a router!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Linksys AC5400 Tri-Band WiFi 5 Router is superb! The easy to use management of Linksys routers keeps bringing me back. Not to mention that the speed and coverage is excellent! I have a 1600 sq. ft. house, on a slab, and it covers the entire house without an issue; including 3 TVs that stream, and an Xbox One X; all run seamlessly!

Fast and easy!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I suggest downloading the app before getting home after purchasing this product. It was so fast and easy setting up this wireless router. It took less than 20 mins from unboxing to browsing the internet. Love that multiple devices can be used on one router without lag. I'm currently running 16 devices at once and steaming 4K movies galore. Highly suggest this product!!!

Not an increase in distance but in consistency
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking to get faster speeds on internet and more reliability/connection ability / distance for wifi cameras. Camera distance, not much improvement for the cost this but there is an improvement in picture, when it is connected (I record 24/7 to HD). Previously was using the NG1750 router. This has more solid connection but signal strength/distance did not give the hoped for great improvement especially for the cost of this thing. Stronger signal strength to some cameras (as on the NG1750) found there is a noticeable improvement in quality of picture recorded. Wifi speed good but I did set up manual IPs on the important items (printer, cameras, computers but not ipads, fires, phones, etc) and it has done better. With this set up I can access the cameras much faster via remote than the previous router. It is BIG in size. Antenna direction does not make much of a difference as far as I have found. Internet speed for me makes no difference as C-Link stinks on DSL in my area. Looking into other options for internet connectivity so I can stream like 80% of the populous. I am hoping this will work for me for many, many years. My yes recommendation to a friend would first entail finding out what their specific needs are as this is not needed for everyone. Also, if there is faster internet speed I am certain I would see more of the advantages of this unit. DSL speeds here are a dismal .78 -.99Mbps. I am paying for 1.5 Mbps but C-Link can not deliver. If you are streaming video, you need 10 - 15 Mbps per device for reliability so I am well under that. Interface was fairly easy if you just don't rush through it.

Top router latest Technology
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great router, very fast. easy hook up and setup . interface pretty good mix of simple and advanced. I have 4000 sq foot house and coverage is great with all ares getting good speed. 8 ports makes it easy to bring into panel. Lots of hipe in the router world, but Cisco cuts through it with solid technology. A top rated Router for big homes and or fast speeds!

Linksys Max-Stream EA9500 : Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is easy to setup and easy to use. It is over-kill for normal single level homes. I have used this in two 2-story homes that are 4000+ sq. ft. The range is fantastic. But like all wifi, it depends on how far, how many walls you are going through, and what kind of walls. Bricks kill wifi signals fast. It is on the expensive side however.

Good router - this is version 1
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router seems to be fine - I haven't had any problems setting it up or using it and it is much better than the Netgear Orbi I had previously. There is a newer version of this router it is called Linksys EA9500 v2 Max-Stream™ AC5400 MU-MIMO Gigabit Wi-Fi Router and it upgrades the CPU to a 1.8GHz quad-core from a 1.4GHz dual-core and refreshes the radios with the BCM4366E instead of BCM4366. Nothing wrong with this router that Best Buy is selling here though. Personally, if I had known there was a version 2, I would have purchased that one - I like to have the latest tech.

GET THIS ROUTER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My internet is now faster than ever and I am finally getting what I am paying for! I couldn't be happier. These are the speeds I was getting before and after purchasing this router: Living room: Before -- 37mbps After -- 105mbps Bedroom: Before -- 15mbps After -- 104mbps Bathroom: Before -- 17mbps After -- 101mbps As you can see, the speeds have been significantly impacted. The antennas on these bad boys send the signal all the way to the back of my house and I can finally browse in peace where ever I am. Honestly, I can't believe I waited this long to make the upgrade. If you have terrible service and aren't getting the speeds you are paying for, your problem very well may be in your dated router, as mine was. If you have a few extra bucks to spend to finally get those speeds you've been dreaming of -- GET THIS ROUTER!

Great speed and range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched to this router from the netgear ac 4000 which would frequently drop connection. Have had this router for over a month now with no connection issues. Also has improved range over the netgear and easily handles my 200 mbps with no signs of slow down regardless of how many devices are running

linksy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this product for review purposes. Is this something I would normally buy for myself? no. My husband and I own our own business from home so we do normal internet searches, emailing, video streaming, etc. I had to plug this directly into my century link router/modem since they are built in together. Which in turn makes me feel like it is no faster than my normal 2 in one. Since I live in a rural farming area century link is the only provider. I do like the ability to control a guest internet service for babysitters and people who use our internet when they are at the house for business. I also like that I can control parental control from the linksys smart wifi. But i will say, the phone app sucks!
